I have 2015 BMW F30 (328xi). These bulbs don't light up upon unlock as they're supposed to. They also cause an error message to come up on the dash when you start the car. The name says "error-free," but this is a false statement.

I installed these as the inner low-beams on my M-B CLK430 several months ago. They installed easily (exact match for the standard bulbs removed), are very bright (but not TOO bright) with a slight bluish hue (i.e. look modern), and will probably outlast the car. Oh, and no "defective bulb" indicator from the M-B computer. Highly recommended.

I installed these in the 2 inner headlamps. Some call it City Lights, some call it Parking Lights.

1) The color seems like it's 10000K - 12000K. I had those colors on my D2R low beams, but now I have 8000K and the color of these bulbs and 8000K seem WAY off. They definitely don't match. Shame... It seems more blue than white!

2) 1 week into the installation, a bulb goes out... Now I have a beautiful car with a missing light..

3) I would not recommend this for brightness. It definitely looks beautiful and stands out a lot, but it is definitely not a bright light at all.

Pros:
* Beautiful Color
* Gets attention
* Fast Shipping

Cons:
* Short Lifespan
* Color is very hard to match with white (looks white in pics, shows blue in person)

Final Thought:
I am going to buy another pair. I will replace the old one, and have an extra left over in case another blows again. I hope it doesn't blow out though..

I installed the LED lights which worked at first, but I noticed that the lamps' bases were poorly formed resulting in the bulbs fitting poorly in the sockets. I attempted to fit the bulbs into the sockets as well as I could anyway. However, with normal vehicle vibration, one of the LED bulbs soon came loose and shorted out the socket. I swapped the bulbs to the opposite side, but the bulbs came loose yet again, got crossways in one of the sockets, shorted the socket, blew the fuse, and melted the bulb socket. Now I have to get replacement sockets and modify them to make the bulbs work. The LED lamps' light was good while they worked. However, I found the poor quality bulb base extrusions on the base sides are too short to securely hold the bulbs in the sockets. The metal of the base is too thin and did not hold its shape. I cannot recommend these bulbs due to the base quality issue.

One of two I got burned out in less than a month. Was nice when it did work... No error messages after I installed them into my boxster. They made for nice looking daytime runners before burning out on week three. I was totally expecting them not to last as long as a regular bulb... But was really hoping it would last at least the year. Bummer.

Items came properly packaged. However, due to the design of the base of the bulb, makes it susceptible to being damaged during installation. Tried to install one and upon attempting to reinsert bulb into lighting socket, ended up damaging one of the bulbs. Construction quality is sub-par to say the very least. Bulb did not throw any light out error on dash.
