Excellent design, looks great on my front door.

I installed this in 10 minutes flat replacing and older (but not too old) Dexter set. No issues whatsoever, flawless install. It will be flawless for you also if you have a relatively new set.
If you know how to take apart a lock this will be easy, if you do not or if it is for a new door, might be slightly harder and take longer.

I didn't look at the the directions until I starting writing this review, they seem to be complete and should be fairly simple for someone with no experience to install.
I wish they included more keys with front door sets like this, most families would need more than two. How is my cat supposed to get in? ;)

A high quality Lever. Only thing I don't like is the fact that you have to turn the handle almost 90 degrees to open a door. This is excessive and certainly not ergonomic, And is a lot more than similar handles and lock sets from Quickset. But Schlage has a few more varieties to chose in the same series from and in my case I replace all handles and locks in an entire house.

Schlage is good quality. Easy installation. To change for left or right door just use tool provide to pop handle off and switch with extra handle provided. I like the levers much better then knobs. Much easier to open. Dead bolt strike plate was the smaller size. My old one were the bigger size, 1-1/4in. x 3-5/8in. Therefore had to order separately the larger strike plate.

I replaced only the thumb latch of this set. The lock part is a different color of polished nickle. Also the Thumb latch hand grip is about 1 inch shorter than the Schlage lock I replaced. Other than that, it was much easier to install than the earlier version and is working fine. Anyone want a brand new deadbolt lock?

High quality product with a reinforcement plate against kick-in. Easy install. The only thing that is a bit akward at first is the huge travel of the handle. In order to open the door, one has to turn the handle almost 90 degrees. But that is easy to get used to.
