I reread the advertising for this product before I wrote this review to make sure it was described as "big". Three separate times it declares..."big mouth, over sized and wide mouthed". It is about the size of a 12 oz soda can. I have 8 cats so I purchased 2 for a total of $20 with shipping. Absolute false advertising.

This litter scoop does work to pick up the wet litter and the cat leftovers, and makes it easy to shake out the clean litter. I would like it even more if it was just a little larger (perhaps about an inch larger overall), but we do have a large litter box.

Sometimes my other scoops are a problem when my hands/wrists are sore. This is very easy and comfortable to use, You just have to be a little careful to allow all the loose litter to fall through so you don't scatter it. Patience is the key.

Using one of the "natural" type litters has led to a lot of waste with most scoops. The product is finer than most litters and the clumps tend to break-up when using a conventional scoop. This Big Mouth Litter Scoop allows me to remove the used portion without busting up the clumps & lets the unused litter fall back into the box. Less waste - cleaner box = Great product .

I'm happy with this purchase. It is smaller than I expected; but in actual use, I like the size. I foster cats and kittens waiting for adoption so I do a lot of scooping every day. The way this is designed makes it easy on the hands and wrists to accomplish the job. It's not quite as fast as using a regular scoop because it takes a few seconds longer for the litter to sift through. I think that's because you're scooping up more litter with every pass. At any rate, it does an excellent job of getting out all the particles thereby helping the litter to stay usable longer.

Very nice for a low-cost litter scoop. It makes it easy to scoop and then shake off the loose litter and it holds quite a bit. You just then dump it into whatever bag you're using and you're done. It makes short work of cleaning out my litter boxes.
