This "MiniPC" arrived much more quickly than expected, but I was also charged more than the listed Amazon price. . .not sure how that happened. But the product is entertaining and works well so far. Not mentioned is that a mouse must be connected to the device for the user to have any control over actions. Since there are two USB ports, a keyboard could also be used. One USB port is supposed to be for connecting to a computer, but I couldn't get my computer to recognize the device, either with or without power. Apps download easily from Google's Play Store, and everything I've added works properly. The first use of the browser was extremely slow, and I thought something was wrong, but it snapped to a decent speed after some use. Seeing Android 4.0, I now am happy enough with the Android 2.3 OS on my tablet. Horizontal is the only reasonable position to view an app on TV, so apps that are strictly vertical won't work on this device. The text-to-speech function is somewhat unreliable, and there is no camera or microphone. Altogether it is interesting to have an Android device performing on a large HDTV, and I hope the unit lasts a while, since it gets very hot after short use. After I checked the auto set-time function, I was able to plug and unplug the device without having to reset the time after it was unplugged and replugged. All settings hold if the device is replugged in. I would recommend this device.

Im very pleased with this product. You can read email, play movies, browse the web, everything that you can do with your tablet or basic pc with a very low cost and great performance.
It has some minor glitchs like the power off missing option and that some apps wont work like twitter, but there is a bunch of apps that you can explore, and for the price is a great value for your money, buy it and try it!

Received my MK-802 and was bummed that it would not boot. I tried seeking help online, and thought that perhaps I had too much current draw on the USB port (causes boot loops). Would not boot. Tried a linux distro that was compiled for this mini PC, it did the same thing- monitor goes live for a second, then boot loop. Returning this one, as it is defective.

I bought this product with low expectations and I can say that it went over my expectations for sure.

I plugged in the HDMI, the power adapter and a wireless mouse dongle, 2 min later I am working full screen on my 48" TV.

Initially the resolution was 720p, but I went in and updated the video out setting to full HD and it was still working very smoothly.

The main reason I bought this product is to play movies and it played them very well, every format I threw at it to this point was played very nicely, I even attached my external hardisk and played full HD movies (Hx264) without any problems, some full HD movies stutter sometimes, but I didn't expect it to play full HD at all to begin with.

I downloaded Skifta (DLNA server/client) and it worked very nicely too, I was able to play movies off my Synology NAS server, but not full HD ones, I suspect it's the wifi speed, which is not very well suited for DLNA HD playing, but it played other lower resolution formats very nicely.

Browsing is a bit slow and facebook is slow as well. At first facebook gave me a couple of "Not responding" but I pressed wait and not close and after 10-20 seconds, facebook was functional, even though a little slow still.

Chrome did not install, it said not compatible, however firefox installed without problems.

I am overly impressed and happy with it for the amount of money I paid.

I also expected it to run very hot as I played my HD movies but that was not the case.

If you do not care about the processing power a lot, buy this product or else go for the faster cpu products (MK808 or MK802-III), but those are twice as expensive too.

Netflix and Youtube working flawlessly out of the box. WIFI connection went flawlessly. I was expecting at least SOME bugs, slow boot..etc. This amazing device will be replacing my roku box :P My mini didn't come with the AC to 5V adapter, instead it has a usb A to device, but luckily I had a 110 to usb adapter at hand. We have been streaming netflix to a 720P television for hours at a time and no overheat issues!

I purchased this device on Oct. 1, 2012, It worked perfectly until Oct. 31,2012. The device stopped giving out the HDMI signal so it is effectively dead. I am really disappointed that it failed so soon.

I've had the MK 802 for about 3 weeks now, mounted to my Samsung LCD TV as a media player. I have installed a SanDisk 4 GB SD card, but have mostly been streaming media from my BUFFALO LinkStation Live 3 TB, connected to a ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-N 600 Router (RT-N56U). Network connection has been flawless, and it is streaming beautifully using ES File Explorer.

At first (when I installed it), the feeling was like "Wow. turning your tv into an almost full functionality PC for just $50!". However, having used it regularly since purchase, I have learned that not all is swell with this mini PC;

1. As a media player, its major shortcoming is the screen resolution. It just cannot match that of a PC, Mac or other media players I've used (such as the Western Digital WD TV HD Media Player, or Popcorn Hour C-200 Networked Media Tank). The picture remains grainy no matter what the settings are or which app I am using. Though it does play HD movies, the resolution it is returning on my TV is far from HD, hence the description that this is a "HD IPTV Player" is a bit misleading.

2. It comes with Android 4.0, however, compared to my
