This is the most amazing item I have ever purchased for any cat. My ten-year-old will hardly get out of it. It's known as "The Pink Thing" and I have emailed photos of my white cat, Isaac, in The Pink Thing to all friends and relatives. I bought it for him as a desk bed since he's determined to keep me company when I'm working. I just pick it up, Isaac inside, when I move from one desk to another in my house. He barely looks up. It's like he's returned to the womb--eyes contentedly closed, kneading furiously, purring. I seriously think the sellers should consider a photo of Isaac in their amazon site as it's completely dog-oriented at the moment. When you first take it out of the bag, it is new of course so it's pretty fluffy, your pet may tumble over a little bit until it stabilizes and takes to his/her shape. After that, you're golden. It's soft, deep and dark, just like they want it! You should get it, in fact, get two, so you don't have to keep taking it to one room to another all the time like I do. I'm ordering another!

When the bed arrived I was very disappointed that my 2 cats did not like this bed as much as I thought they might. It was dislike at first sniff. Thinking it was the smell I decided that I would use if for a few days. First as a back support on the couch, then I found it made a really great pillow. Ok so the cats dont like it but not money lost, I find the pillow comfortable. Then on a cold New York night I found that fact that it folds in half and makes a clam shell foot warmer was heavenly. With winter heading our way I decided that warm feet was the reason behind this purchase. I am now a very happy customer of this pet bed at this point. Now I return home from work, to find my beautiful foot warmer has not be claimed by one, but both of my cats. We have been fighting over who gets to use the foot-warmer/pet bed. After a family meeting we have decided an extra shift of over time on my part I should be able to buy both cats their own bed so I can have my foot warmer back.
Love this product, it is soft, warm, comfortable for human and cats...dogs will have to do their own research on this product.

My dogs enjoy the bed, and that mainly what matters. Look at the products picture as you would a burger on a commercial. It looks perfect, but what you actually get is something that is the same product, but a lesser version.
My bed never poofed like the display photo. The part of the edge that's higher ended up just falling backwards.
After about a month of use, I found that there was a hole on the bottom side stitching, which is kind of upsetting. If a product is made for dogs, it needs to be durable. My boys didn't use it for anything besides sleeping, so there wasn't any rough play or ripping it up.

I bought this bed thinking my dog would LOVE it. It seemed like the perfect bed for her. Soft, comfortable and warm. She's the kind of dog that likes to snuggle up under the blankets sometimes, so I felt sure she would take to this bed immediately. Well... sadly, I was wrong. If put her in the bed, she'll stay in it and she seems comfortable and happy, but she's never once gotten in it by herself. I'm not sure if it's because the bed is a little wobbly or maybe too tall. One thing to note is my dog is both spoiled and stubborn. She's always been picky about her beds. I get her a new one every Christmas, and it's really hit or miss with her. So I guess I can't say I'm too surprised she doesn't like this one, but I honestly thought that she would. I keep expecting her to come around, but she never has.
Anyways, about the bed (ignoring the fact that I have a stubborn pooch), it's a GREAT bed. It is definitely the best dog bed I've ever purchased. It's super soft, just like it looks in the images. It's deep, so your pet can snuggle down in it and stay warm. The material the bed is made out of feels one of those really soft throw blankets. Your pet can snuggle down in the bed or rest its head across the top. It's not a huge bed but it does provide enough room for my small Jack Russell Terrier to stretch out. Or when she feels like it, she'll lay half in the bed and half out. I'm not sure what the bottom of the bed is made out of it, but I will include a picture of it for those of you who'd like to see. The only real problem with this bed is that fact that it's wobbly. On a hard surface it may be okay (I haven't tried it so don't take my word for it yet), but on a couch or a bed, it wobbles pretty bad, and I do wonder if maybe that's the reason my girl won't get in it on her own.Read more ›
