I was really surprised at how well made and adorable this set is - and how many pieces they packed in! Everything seems like it's really high quality. The clasps used to open the sides of the box are interesting. They are affixed by this (strong) elastic string and little wooden knob, so you pull the knob up to slide the elastic into the ridge at the top. A little tricky for my 3 year old, but I count that as a plus - because I like it that she needs to ask for help so I can be there to keep track of the pieces when it gets opened. :) I think the dolls themselves are so cute. They are a little boy and girl with completely poseable arms and legs. You can use the poseable aspect of their arms to make them wrap around the "chains" of the swing to keep them on it -- so cool. The piano is adorable and has painted keys! There is so much furniture! The balcony section slips into two holes at the top and the stairs just rest anywhere; both are really sturdy and fun to play with. There is a sink for the bathroom and a separate stove/sink for the kitchen (both with adorable modern sinks)...a bed, a laise reclining chair, a piano bench the swing, a bath tub -- so many details! When I first opened it, the box seemed a little smaller than I had guessed, but it was the perfect size (not too big, and perfect for my 3 year old to walk around with). I really love it and it was well worth the twenty nine bucks spent! (price fluctuates so keep an eye out! I put it in my shopping cart and left it there for a week and there was a twenty five buck fluctuation)

I originally saw this doll house while in San Francisco, at a department store called Gumps. I fell in love with it immediately, but knew that I would not be able to fit it in my suitcase or carry-on. When I returned home, I searched for it and I was so happy to find it on Amazon (and at a great price too)! This little doll house is simply perfect. Everything is wooden and painted in a very nice quality too! All of the little pieces fit perfectly inside also, so after pulling everything out, you can pack everything neatly away. Each side opens to reveal a house with a front yard and a back yard with a "pool". The accompanying furniture is very well-made and has so many details. Even the piano has little painted white & black keys! The dolls have bendable arms that allow them to hold on to various furniture pieces, but I think the best is bending them to sit them on the little swing. They'll actually hold on and swing!

My 5 year old loves this set, although I might love it more than she does. This is a fantastic toy and is great for bringing on trips because everything packs away so neatly.

Best thing I ever did was get rid of the large plastic fisher price doll house that my 4-5 year old never played with and replaced it with this. It's simple, adorable, well made, non toxic and portable. Especially if you live in a smaller urban setting, this is a must. All that aside, the best part is that she plays with it all the time whereas the large plastic mansion just collected dust. Perfect for a wide a range of ages, 3-8 easily.

My 3 year old daughter received this for Christmas this year from her grandparents and she loves it. She acts out different characters for the dolls and it really seems to get her imagination rolling. The dolls and furniture are great, with good details, body parts that bend, etc. The dolls even bend their limbs to essentially hold onto the ropes so that they can sit by themselves on the swing set as my daughter pushes it. The best part, it all closes up into the box to be carried, cleaned up and put away. I love it to.
Late on Christmas day, my daughter left her dollhouse on the living room floor and we found too late that our dog had chewed up one of the dolls. Needless to say, my daughter was devastated. I tried to find replacement dolls on Amazon, Ebay, the Diggin website and had no luck. I finally bought some dolls that are 1:12 scale from a local store but they are frankly way to big for the set. Just today I got a call from Diggin (I had called them/emailed them to see if they sold the pieces individually) and they have volunteered to send me a replacement doll in the mail free of charge. In fact, they've already sent me the FedEx tracking number. I have never experienced such great customer service. They have won a new lifelong fan. I'll be looking for all my gifts for kids from Diggin!

I bought two and gave to my daughter and niece for Christmas (yesterday). One was in an original box and one was in plastic wrap, should have been my first clue maybe product was tampered with or returned. The pin on top is attached with elastic. Elastic came out of pin within one day. I was looking to try to reattach, but hole was drilled off centered and slightly larger than other side. Now the side won't stay up for storage and travel which is why I bought this item. Unfortunately I ordered this early so the return window has closed. Now I am stuck with this overpriced junk!
