    I wore these to a costume party last night for the first time. The fabric is nice and stretchy, but unfortunately they snagged on everything, such as my purse and my jacket. So after 3 hours they were pretty ripped up in the upper elbow area. Disappointing because I doubt I can get a 2nd wearing out of them. Also, the top is pretty slender, so I would not recommend this for full-figured women. My upper arms were pushing the limits as it was, and I'm a size 10.

    Love these gloves. Purchased these gloves in ivory for a 1920's gala. Very elegant and great value. The only issue is that they snag very easily and caught on my dress and purse all night long. They also got dirty easily but otherwise a great item!

I bought these specifically because they were the longest that I could find on Amazon, and they come up to a few inches above my elbow. (I'm 5'6", proportional limbs, and smallish fingers; most of my fingers fit rings sized 5-6.)

    I got the gold gloves for a Halloween costume and they look great and are exactly as pictured. The only reason why I gave it a four instead of a five is that the fingers were not long enough. I have very long fingers and so the fingers in the glove ended between my second and third knuckle. I am used to this but it's still disappointing in a stretchy glove. That doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend them, however, even to people with long fingers like me because they do look great otherwise and they are very, very soft.

    These seem to be oddly proportioned. The fingers are very short, as is the overall length (they just pass my elbow - they certainly do not reach halfway up my upper arm as shown). They are a bit too wide at the top, so they don't stay up. The oddest part, though, is the thumb: it's triangular in shape with a very wide base. It makes my hand look webbed. There isn't very much stretch. The color and shine are fine. They'll work for my Halloween costume, but I would never wear them to a formal event.

    The gloves themselves, I quite enjoyed. I purchased them for an event and they do have a lovely elegant look.... until the seams start falling apart. first it was the right index finger along the inside (THANKFULLY because I was able to conceal this in most of the photographs.) At first i actually considered it a convienient quirk so I could use my phone without having to peel my gloves off anymore - pop my finger out of the broken glove, then slide it back into the "cap" and have what looked like an intact glove. I laughed it off....

    "Bridal"?!?! Run! Honestly. if it's for your special day, don't let these gloves ruin it for you. I doubt many would the sense of humor about it that I did. Especially when you look at your photos afterwards and see amazing photos with gloves falling off of you....

    But then more and more seams around the fingers and hand started to go through the night. I *do not* have large hands that could put extreme pressure on these gloves (my ring size is 4 1/2) I have fairly small petite hands.

    They were also not put through heavy stress - I'm in a electric wheelchair and have mobility damage to my hands, so I was not using American Sign Language or anything to put them through heavy stress. i was sitting in a chair having my photo taken.

    As another reviewer mentioned, yes this is the stretch satin that can snag, but that wasn't my issue (though I did snag on a jewelry setting - someone else's as they came in for a picture) - it was that in just a few hours the glove fabric was flopping off and large portions of my hands were showing.or just falling out.     These snag on everything, even a hangnail, and, if you have upper arms that are thicker than those belonging to a size 6, the tops will roll down. I'll give the gloves their due, though. They don't fall off -- the tops just roll down. Also, I'm not a fan of the "shiny stretch satin." Please note this is not satin in the least. It's more like a large-knit polyester. They're not as shiny nor as soft as I expected. They'll do for the purpose I purchased them, i.e., a Halloween costume, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything fashion related, especially if going to a special event.
