This works, but it's by no means a great product. Yes, it's a box that locks, but beyond that it's pretty average. I use mine to keep personal items in that I don't want my kids seeing (use your imagination)

The metal is pretty thin and you could likely crush it by stepping on it. The lock will keep small children out, but 3 seconds with a screw driver and this thing is open.

Also, the numbers on the combination lock are very small and low contrast, so I usually have to put my glasses on to open it - a pain in the butt.

This box is really small, It does the job but if you are looking for a lockbox this is not the one. It might be ok for your kids to use while they selling lemonade or selling cookies or something, but this is not something that I can use to place something I want to be safeguarded. It actually fits in the palm of my hand.

I purchased this so I could send a few things to my husband in Japan. One of which was his wedding band. I was so scared to just send it without being locked in something so I came up with this idea. When I got it I was a little confused about how to get the combo fixed to my numbers. I finally figured it out. It was a little hard to move the dials... You can not go from 9 to 0 have to go back down through the numbers to get to zero. Overall it was small and easy to use. and Served my purpose well.

Very cheap construction. Terrible "cash box" -- only for people who lack cash. If you have any cash, you would certainly not put it in this crappy box. I expect this box would last about 3 hours in normal use. Words cannot describe how shoddy the workmanship is. I paid $21 for this box. It is worth about fitty cent.

Yep, it's small (4"x6" - a bit larger than a standard index card) but it holds the essentials. It holds my keys, ID, cards, cash, a bit of makeup, and even my phone and a small external battery. Yep, it will block phone signal, so if I want to receive calls I just put my phone in my pocket.

Let me preface stating that I didn't buy this as a cash box. I needed it for secure storage.

This item arrived well packed but did have surface scuffs in the paint. There were no dents or dings, just some scratches on the surface. These did not seem to have happened in shipping, probably occurring before packaging. There was no other damage and I wasn't picky about the color, so I accepted the box as is.

As for the quality, besides the scratches this seems to be well built. The dials are a bit sticky at times but always turn. You can only turn them in one direction, though! This is a benefit, though, not a detriment! You can only turn the dials down, rotating the numbers in one direction to get to your combination. When you're done, you roll the dials up and they stop when all three reach 000. This means there's always a single, simple starting point. It also means you can always be sure you've hidden your combo just by setting it back to the default 000! I like this as a security feature.

The size is a little smaller than I would have liked. It's a bit of a tight fit, but, as I stated, I didn't buy this as a cash box. I have small valuables stored inside. The tray is a good depth and it does provide a second layer underneath. Those two levels, though, are a bit shallow for what I wanted to put inside, meaning either a tight fit or that I just can't put those things inside. I also would have liked a padded liner - a feature I hadn't anticipated wanting when I ordered. As a cash box this will function very well. As safe storage, maybe look at upgrading to a larger box.

This box is okay. It's light weight, a good average size and has plenty of room inside. The lock mechanism seems kind of cheap, and it doesn't always work. Too much trouble to send back, so I'll use it and just put up with it.

Serves it's purpose. Purchased this for a tween to little keep sisters from his valuables. It works. The combination lock is a nice feature instead of a key lock as he would lose the key. Personally, I would not use it for anything important but to stash a few bucks and his ipod it works well.
