Our cats (we have two females) seem to get cold easily and were always sleeping on the blanket on our couch meaning I had to wash it fairly often. I purchased this from my local TJ Maxx for about $10 (originally $18.) We're not crazy about the color (tan zebra stripe) but my boyfriend and I didn't have the money to buy an expensive cat tree but this was easily within our price range. It is great, the cats took to it right away. This gave them somewhere to hide away and stay warm. We change it from sofa to house once in awhile and they seem to enjoy it either way. When my boyfriend and I went on an extended trip for Christmas and took our cats with us this was really easy to fit in our overstuffed car. It was nice to be able to take something familiar for them that took up so little space.

Actually we ended up buying a second one since they kept fighting over it. I looked at the 'houses' this company makes just for cats but was not impressed because 1) they don't convert to sofas like this model does and 2) they cost A LOT more, they retail for $30 and up. It seems that the company has changed the design since then. I would include a link to the newer model but I can't find it on amazon, I'll update my review if I find it. The first series and the newer version are a bit different. The 'small' of the first series is a bit bigger than the 'small' of the second series. Both of our cats are 10LBS and under and they both comfortably fit in the first and second versions of the houses but when changed to sofas the updated model is a much tighter fit. Unless you have a particularly large cat or your cat really likes to stretch out then this older model should be big enough.Read more ›

This is a very small house; my shih tzu puppy is 14 weeks and 5.5 lbs, and she is just the right size to fit it now, but will outgrow it in a few months. It is of good quality, and the convertible feature is nice, but whenever it's in 'house' form, my dog will just jump on top of it and put it in 'sofa mode.'. If you have a very young puppy or full-grown dog up to about 6 lbs I'd recommend this, especially if you want something compact. It would not fit a larger dog.

We have a little toy fox terrier who loves these little foam kitty cube type beds. He spends so much time in there that they get kind of smelly and need to be replaced periodically. This one was the perfect size and the price was decent. It arrived quickly, and Charlie loves it. While I wish he would accept the upgraded wooden house with a custom made bed inside that can be easily laundered, he prefers the cheap ones. Do I love it? No, but it is exactly what I expected it to be, it is worth the price and he loves it. At our house... that works.

Miss Blu (the cat) loves her new new house! From the moment I received, she went inside and made herself at home. She loves it and so do I! She is about 13 pounds and has room to spare in there. Miss Blu is boarded from time to time and I bring the house to the boarding facility to put inside her kennel. She loves it and make her feel right at home.

My 18 lb dog was driving me crazy trying to fit into a cat size dome house so I decided to give this a try to help my cat get her bed back. The house is not large enough for her so she ended up flipping the thing around every time she tries to rearrange her body inside the house. She fits and can do a circle but when she starts making bigger circles the house just rolls around. The house also has a problem in staying up. The top keeps flopping down. Overall she did not like it and is now being used as a sofa pet bed instead.

My Pomeranian puppies absolutely love this bed. They hide in it, play in it, and jump on top, which collapses it, but then they just play on top of it. My only complaint is that when you wash it, the removable foam inside the removable pad comes loose. Since, I sew, it was a snap the sew the pad all the way around it securing the foam so it won't move. I still gave it 5 stars because my puppies love this bed and it is by far their favorite bed so far.

This little "Cat house" is not only adorable but my cats love it! I have two cats and I will probably have to buy another one because it always has a kitty laying peacefully inside of it. It is very sturdy but they only downfall is the fur really sticks to the material.
