There were a ton of blue and very few of the other flavors....completely uneven. Many were open and there was a HUGE powdery mess within the shipping box, because the packing was so poor. The large bunch was placed in an open, plastic bag (not a zip bag), and it was simply placed in the shipping box without any additional wrapping. The sticks were beat up, and as I mentioned, there was powder everywhere. I would NOT recommend buying these from this merchant.

I ordered two sets of these for two separate events. Because I did so, I can still come up with somewhat of an assortment for each event, but each "package" (and I use the term loosely) was predominantly one or two colors with a few random others thrown in. ((Actually, just took a couple picks of the bags and one is ONLY purple and red!!)) Not a single straw of another color. They come in a very thin plastic bag, and there are many broken straws in the bag. All in all, pretty disappointed in this purchase. I think you would be better off heading to a big box store for these. The low cost from Amazon is reflected in the quality of the product you receive.

The Pixy Sticks came quickly and on time. I didn't weigh the bag but I would assume it was about 2 lb. Definitely a large bad of Pixy Sticks! The powder and taste were just as I remembered them as a kid!

One flaw, however, is that they weren't exactly assorted evenly, as described. My bag came with tons of Orange about equal amount Red and Purple and almost no Blue! I was very disappointed to see this is blue is a favorite by everyone, myself included.

Because of they I am giving it three stars. It was the good powdery candy that I remember, however, it wasn't sold exactly as advertised..

Pixy sticks. Pure sugar. For me. An Adult. How anyone would stock these as an after school snack for children is astonishing, but I don't have to pay their dental bills or go to their teacher conferences so to each their own, I guess.

The pixie sticks were a hit at my candy bar! They came in bundles that were in plastic so not much mess when opening them. They are so tasty, straight sugar but soooo good. I will buy more of these for our 4th of July celebration. Who doesn’t love colored sugar!

I got an even mix of red purple blue and orange. I counted that there are maybe 350 sticks, 80 of each color. Of course they are delicious as expected.
They were packaged securely. I could see an extremely light dusting of loose pixy sugar in the bag with the sticks, but I haven't found any broken or damaged sticks and you can't tell when they are out of the bag they came in. I assume it just happens when they're made and packaged in a sugar factory and this was not an issue for me.

When I was a kid if was limited in how many I could have by the cost.
As an adult this was enough to make myself sick.

Wow were the grandkids disappointed!! 3 purple and 3 orange and the rest red and blue! I would have thought more even colors like you by at the store. Red and blue good for summer holidays but they wanted all the flavors. Packaging was good.
