Love it, but stitching came loose

I am giving this bag 4 stars even though the stitching came apart between two of the outer pockets on the front of the bag. I am still wearing it, and so far the now-exposed fabric liner has held up fine, though all I carry in the interior pocket is a small wallet. I love the three outer pockets. I use one for my phone, one for my keys and one for my lip balm. lipstick and two little tube canisters of tylenol and ibuprofin (I'm a mom and we travel a lot so I need to have first-aid supplies on hand.)

The large inner zipper pocket is big enough for a wallet AND a checkbook, and has two inner pockets, one with a zipper.

The only real flaw with this bag is a design flaw, not a construction flaw. If you wear it constantly, every day, like I do, you put a lot of strain on the stitching between the outer pockets because this 'outer' wall of the bag isn't bigger than the inner wall that is closer to the body. So as the bag curves to shape to your body, the outer layer is under a lot of tension. I am going to take my beloved bag to a leather repair shop and have them piece-in a triangular patch of leather where the seam split. This should fix the tension problem and prevent the seam from pulling apart again. And the previous reviewer is correct about the strap being huge.

The bottom line, this bag is just the right size and very flattering. People are always asking me about it, both men and women. And I love having my hands free and not being stuck with a grotty nylon fanny pack with a plastic clip. (Though the buckle is slower to fasten and unfasten than a clip, which is a little annoying in restroom stops. I'm willing to put up with it for the nicer look.)
