This is a price point item. Its fine, but not exceptional. The cover will eventually weaken and get lost. Expect the minimum and you will no be disappointed. We use it to cut food into small pieces and its fine for that.

First of all, these scissors DO NOT HAVE curved blades. They're straight as straight can be. So that was a bummer. Besides, the metal is a little thicker than I'd like and they don't open/close very smoothly. But other than that, they're little scissors that are sharp enough and don't have sharp ends, so they'll work.

I have a new very small & hairy puppy and wanted small rounded end scissors for trimming around the eyes etc. These are perfect, very sharp and small enough to handle in small places. These scissors are much nicer than the ones I had when my children were small. The cover is great too as it keeps the blades from falling open when they're stored away.

I purchased these as a replacement for a pair of Red Cross baby nail scissors that I lost. The Nuby scissors are definitely not as good as my Red Cross pair. The blades are too thick, which makes it difficult to get underneath tiny fingernails. The scissors are also not curved at all, which makes cutting small nails more challenging. Maybe they would be okay for adult nails, but they end up cutting either too much or too much fingernail on both my 6 month old and my 3 year old.

They aren't curved out so it makes them slightly harder to use than a higher qualit ypair. But, they work. I'm gonna use them. Can't beat the price.

These broke after cutting my daughter's nails just a few times. I liked the plastic cover that went over the tips, but that doesn't make much difference if the scissors themselves are useless.
