I was expecting it to just eliminate rattles but it actually quieted by cabin down considerably, of course part of that is due to there not being as many things rattling but i was impressed.

25sqft is enough to do the doors and the cargo area of a suv at 50% coverage. more than that is un-needed i guess. i did my front doors at full coverage and used 10sqft. than ordered this 25 and did the rear doors and cargo area at 75% coverage and still had some left over.

Comes with all you need including instructions. This was the first time I had ever installed a product like this and it went pretty well. Must be patient to get a quality job out of it but definatley worth it. Price was good compared to other brands I had researched. I was replacing some defective factory installed sound eliminator in a spare tire area so I can vouch for it out performing that anyway. As far as comparable "Dynamat" or other popular brands I can't say how it stacks up. I would recommend it if you are looking to upgrade the stock sound reduction material. I will purchase it again if I would have a need for it in the future.

To begin, this is my first experience with this type of item. I've always wanted to dynamat my car, and when I was ready, I realized I can't afford the price tag it comes with. So in searching through Amazon, I came across GTMAT. Very easy to install. The application kit that comes with the product is quite handy. If you're doing a winter application, have a space heater nearby; the heat helps it stick. After installing on my doors and most of my trunk ( I have a Honda s2000 = small car; if you have a sedan, get 50 sqft), there was a noticeable difference in sound quality coming from my door speakers. There was more of a thump coming from the woofers and louder highs coming from tweeters. Haven't had a chance to hear the sub in the trunk yet though (waiting for it to arrive). Will definitely order again once I'm ready to insulate the entire cabin.

I installed this dampener in my car (chevrolet swift), and obtained pretty good results. I prepared my car for IASCA Sound Quality Challenge and the judge admired the good results. This guy said it felt like being inside of a capsule, because the SPL-Open-Show cars running over 150db next to us, didn't disturb our SQ tests. The material dind't smell bad at all (some people told me about the smell due to asphalt content). The only con, is that about 10% of the material didn't stick properly, lucky I had another 36sqft so I could get the job done in time.

Easy to work with and much cheaper than other brands. I like that it can be bought in small quantities, in case you need a bit more to finish your project. After installing, it makes a noticeable difference in rattling, as it deadens sounds transmitted through the car's sheet metal.

I was looking for some sound deadening material for my vehicle and wanted to try the product. I ordered the 25 sq ft and applied it to both sides of rear deck and back seat, the trunk lid, and applied a little in the doors. I contacted the company after also reading that they were giving samples away and they were very helpful from the beginning and did send me an additional free sample of 10 sq ft. WOW! what great customer service. I've used approximately 28 sq ft so far and I'm very impressed with the product and at a great price. I am very pleased with the quality of the stereo sound improvements and the exhaust noise was drastically decreased once the product was installed on my G8GT with Solo axleback exhaust. I will be ordering again in the spring to complete my other vehicles.

I was in the market for a new audio system and needed some sound damping. I install the GTMAT to my 2004 Mini Cooper. Wow what a big difference it made! I no longer hear the squeaks or excessive road noise. My new audio systems sounds great with the GTMAT installed as the sound dampening layer. Great product and easy to install.

Got here on time and was fairly easy to install. I put it on the roof of my 1994 Nissan pickup and it made all the rattles stop and I now have a quieter ride. Doesn't do much for insulating the vehicle but it is a great buy. I plan on purchasing more in the future

This is a K booster. From potash, maybe a hormone added that is it. Just an fyi they give out free bottles for reviewers. Product works to the level that your plants need K.
