Blade is useless without regrinding a new edge. Replacement not available.

The plane is exactly what I want, but the blade edge is chipped and bent. There seems to be no way to get a replacement blade without returning the whole thing and then buying another one. That of course may be damaged in the same way or differently. The site does seem to allow for replacement. Only refunds. please advise.
