Great Short Pants

These compression shorts are the best ever. I use them for CrossFit and they provide the best support. I feel that I am able to perform to the best of my ability and they help to prevent delayed onset muscle soreness.

I highly recommend all Zoot products

I am a 53 year old male with a waist of 30 Inches, inseam 29 inches, and weight 140 lbs. I stand 5'6" and have 23.5 inch thighs. I chose a size 2 and this pair of shorts fit and support extremely well. I only wear compression clothing while working out. My exercise is the iron cross with the TRX suspending me 8 inches from the floor. I jump rope for an hour, then run sprints around the indoor track followed by machine weights. This regimen is done three days a week. I highly recommend all Zoot products. Remember size does matter, so please take the time to measure yourself before buying. The fitting guides are very accurate.

Didn't expect it to be this good!

So I've been using UA compression shorts for a couple of years and thought it was a fairly good product. I wanted to find something with more compression and better quality. I was hesitant to purchase these because of the price and feared that it would be made in China and the quality wouldn't be what I was expecting. I'm sure glad I took the plunged because you can tell the difference like night and day in comparison to UA. For all those concerned, Zoot Compression is made in Canada, which was a sigh of relief for me.

Great material, good fit, very good compression

6'3" 210-215lbs. 34 1/2 to a 35 inch waist and 24-24 1/2 inch thigh. I ordered the size 4. It fits perfectly.

As someone who runs, lifts, and is getting older (over 40) I have been looking toward compression wear to help me feel better before, during, and after exercise. I have a lot of spandex/poly boxer briefs and compression briefs but have been looking for something that offers a lot more compression in the thigh/hamstring area without killing my groin of chaffing. I also wanted something more than just that under armour type fabric in a denser form. I had some 2XU socks and arm sleeves in the type of material I was looking for as well as the Zoot 2.0 crx calf sleeves.

These are exactly what I was looking for. They are not just a thicker version of normal spandex shorts and tights but rather have that feel of a more regular fabric with compression qualities. They compress my thighs far better than anything else I have. Fit in the hips and waist is good as well. I have no groin issues with these. That being said I would recommend having a stick of body glide on hand for any tight compression garment as there will be rub points from time to time. I also did not find them to be low cut and I think it helps if you bring them up the leg an inch or so from their initial sticking point. This gives you enough material to get it fitted into your crotch and up onto you hips. I found it lines up exactly where my normal shorts do.

Liked them so much I did order a second pair.

Awesome running shorts, could go up a bit higher.

I really like Zoot compression gear. I've got their recovery tights, which are the best out there, in my opinion, as they're the only running recovery gear that I've found in which the compression is rated. So I decided to try out the active running shorts. These shorts fit to size. I usually wear a 32-34 and these fit just fine. They have great compression. They look very cool, especially the florescent Zoot logo down the legs of the shorts. It's got pockets on the sides which can stretch enough to even fit a smart phone inside. It has a waist band string that you can tie, which is great. If you've ever tried Zoot compression gear before, you know what kind of material it is. It's thick and rough to the touch. I didn't find it uncomfortable but some might. Also, it will be warmer than something like Skins, which are very thin and cool. However, I don't think this would be a problem unless the weather is very hot. The only negatives that I have found is that it doesn't have specific support for the male anatomy like Skins apparel does. This would be a nice addition. Also, I think they are a bit low-cut. It would be nice if Zoot offered a T version of these for those who need them to go up a little higher. Overall, they're really nice active compression running shorts which offer better compression than its competitors, nice location of pockets, and great looks, however could use minor improvements and the material could be uncomfortable/warm for some people.

Quite a stretch for someone who hasn't worn compression tights before - moi. Was quite sure I got the right size, until I was trying it on. Did I hear some threads breaking? But give it a good stretch before wearing and it should be fine. Felt good on a 10 km run. Not much soreness in my thighs.

Not good for Ultras.

Used the for ultramarathon. It worked excellent in the firt. Second Ultra i ran; the shorts broke in between the thighs. Both sides!! It caused shafing.
