. Bought 20 and 17 have died in less than 4 months. Previous brand lasted about 10-14 months. 4 were in dusk to dawn app and the others were continuous on All on post lights in the driveway. the ones in continuous use probably met their expected life of 2500 hours.

Excellent bulbs; best and brightest available since the phillips 60 watt Halogena are no longer available in the US. At lest 25-30% brighter than 60 watt GE bulbs you can get at Home Depot.

We ordered 50 more bulbs (5 boxes) as spares and fora,new chandelier.

Highly recommended; work perfectly with Lutron dimmers.

Mrs. Mode is very happy with this bulb. The last 15W Flame Tip Chandelier Bulbs we purchased from Amazon were GE Brand, I thought we could trust GE, made in the Philippines and dimmed while she viewed them for the first time. I suspected the Dimmer Switch, but that was not the case. These bulbs are holding their brightness and have a nice white color. The listing claims same as a 40 Watt incandescent, this is way dimmer.

It really isn't that bright, and runs kind'a hot. Try this one instead: 60 Watt - Clear - Candelabra Base - Decor Halogena - BC60F10-1/2C/HAL/CL - Philips 390294: it has 900 lumen output, as opposed to this unit's 760 lumen. Also much brighter, and does NOT run as hot - I measured it with an IR thermometer.
