Works great, iPhone 5S fits well in the front transparent pocket and is visible while riding. Main pocket is large enough to fit a burrito ;-)

The straps hold the bag very securely and no issues while trail riding, the dual zippers open the main pocket quickly and efficiently.

Not very large, but folks with longer legs certainly won't hit it with their knees. my iphone 5 just barely fits (on the diagonal). without the phone taking up space, will hold my keys, granola bar (or two), battery pack for my iphone. Haven't been in the rain yet to test the waterproof, but knowing other timbuk 2 products I suspect it will survive a drizzle but in pouring rain the contents may be damp. I will likely also buy the Timbuk2 Goody Box to have more storage for longer rides.

Update: after a couple more rides, I realized that when packed appropriately it's actually quite roomier than I thought. can definitely fit multiple granola bars or granola bars plus multitool, extra battery for my phone, keys, and ID. I can open it one-handed while cycling but can't get it to zip back up with just one hand.

It is a little smaller than it seemed in all the pics and my Samsung S2 does not fit in the clear phone pocket on the outside.
Don't expect anything larger than an iphone to fit.
Other than that this is the type of quality, stylish gear that I would expect from this brand.

Very secure attachment to the bike. A little tight on the clear pouch on top where I put my queue sheet. The clear pouch is to small for anything larger than an iPhone 5. My 4.7" Android screen won't fit. (Slightly more Android users out there so this, while expected per the description, is a bit odd.) Used by a person who is not tall and saddle bag clearance space is very limited on my road bike so this is terrific in that regard. It holds more than I could ever get in my saddle bag.

Is a bit difficult to open while riding - which isn't a bad thing - access is a challenge. Hoping with practice this will improve. Reduced the amount of stuff in my jersey pockets. Just a phone now. Spare tube, tools, gels etc all fit into this bag. Access on the top tube is so much easier than the saddle bag it replaces.
Wish it held a modern mobile device and was a bit easier to open while riding. Hoping it will 'wear in' and I'll be able to access food more easily during rides. Practice, practice...

Not as pictured on Amazon. There are two, similarly named products: a goody box (which has the cell phone sleeve) and the goody bento box (which doesn't). The listing for the bento incorrectly shows the red product with the sleeve. Timbuk2 does make awesome stuff, however.

The bag first off is taller than the handle bar pole on my bike so the top velcro strap can't strap to anything. I might take it off and resew it an inch lower so that i can have the 2 straps to stablize it. The dual zippers are attached to one another with a rubber handle. I cannot use the handle to unzip it. It is too stiff to unzip without using both hands so definitely cannot unzip both sides at the same time while on my bike, HOWEVER if you just do a zip one side at a time maneuver it works.

I bought this bag hoping it could actually carry my bike pump in it, but it isn't long enough which is OK. I can shove quite a few food items in here which makes it more appealing. I don't use the phone holder for my phone since I have a handlebar mount, but works great for holding my cash and credit card.

I don't really see using this as a way to access items while actually riding, but more of carrying more thing and switching out food items on the quick stops I make.

This is a wonderful item, especially if you use your iPhone as a workout/bike computer. The touchscreen remains completely functional and it is very well protected from the elements and if you take a tumble. The compartment in front is big enough to hold most anything you need for a long ride. I use mine to hold my front headlight batter pack and a few backup tools along with a wallet and some snacks... It's big enough for all of it. The only drawback is the front straps require a fairly tall handlebar riser or else you're going to have some trouble making it fit. I would recommend at least a 2" clearance from the frame to make sure this fits well. All else considered, very handy and well made product, just like all Timbuk2 items. Highly recommended.

This bag is great for holding snacks and other items you would want access to while you're on the go on your bike. The cell phone window is especially handy, letting you see any alerts or calls that may come in so you can decide whether or not to respond right away. Well built, attractive and not too bulky.
