Many have written their reviews related to this product "Lace Poet Purple Ultimate Yoga/Sleep Compression Body Shaper/Legging" with very mixed results, especially when it comes to the fit. Here is my take on it with clear measurements based on my body when I received the item on July 9, 2014:
height: 5'6 and 3/4"
weight: 141lbs, fluctuating by +/- 2 lbs
waist: 27 inches with 3/4 inch pinch of fat/skin
Hips at the widest part: 39 inches
thighs at the widest: 22 inches
right calf width: 16 inches; left calf width: 15.5 inches
Heel to Natural Waist height: 40 inches
shoe size: 9 (US), wide (wide for me is 4 inches flat footed at the widest part of the foot)
Note about self: I exercise daily a minimum of 30 minutes on an elliptical at a 67rpm (rpm=reps per minute) at an average resistance at 8 (this is equal for walk up the medium sized hill - elevation of 25%).

I did get the leggings on, although it took some time and effort to ensure that I rolled them on properly. The waist of the legging ended up being just above my belly button by 0.5 inches, the crotch was as intended without any pinching. The foot opening area was a little tight at my widest although I didn't notice until it started to hurt. I adjusted the footing by moving it "up" to the more narrower part. I have worn the leggings for 15 nights (full nights = 8 hours) in a row and washing them in between 3 times. The butt and crotch area are now fraying slightly but the legs and waist are still intact. As of today, July 30, 2014 I have the following measurements that have changed:
thigh at the widest: 21.5 inches (loss of 0.5 inches)
hips at the widest: 38 inches (loss of 1 inch)
right calf width: 15.

I agree with others in that they are much smaller than expected. I weigh barely 100 pounds and struggled to get them on, and once on they were uncomfortably tight and wouldnt stay up, most likely because they were so tight I couldn't stretch them up to my waist. I felt like crotch remained at my knees. I wear compression socks or stockings most of the time, but I would not recommend these to anyone. I am only 5' 1" and they seemed way too short for me. Had they been longer, or not so tight fitting, maybe I could have stretched them up to my waist to fit better. I cant imagine being able to get them on at all once washed.

My leg length: 18inch from heel to knee, from knee to groin is also 18inch. It has pouch at knee for flexing. It is not one size fit all. The thigh length is short. If you have shorter thigh length than me, (maybe like 3-4 inches shorter) you would probably fit. I tried to stretch and pull up but then the knee pouch would end up mid thigh and it was awkward. Not for me, returning product. Had compression and nice color.

Too difficult to get on/off. Bought them to sleep in on doctor's orders, but way too uncomfortable and take about 6-7 minutes to get them on as you have to work them up each leg equally. So, you have to put one leg on a few inches and then the other leg a few inches and so on and so on until you get them on. In my case, at least, I was so tired when I finally got them on I went right to sleep.

I'm 5'6, 125 lbs, these are a real struggle to get over my butt. I know they are compression. I do have longer legs than the norm, but be aware if you're similar. I can wear them, but not as comfortably as I had hoped. Best for more petite individuals.

I'm 5'2", 125lbs. I was able to get them on. It was a bit difficult to pull them up, but so were the TED socks the hospital gave me so I expected it. I don't see how anyone taller could fit in these. I had to keep pulling to work them up to cover my butt. Once I got them up all the way, they're comfy.

Update: I just found a hole in the crotch ugh

I really wanted to like these leggings because they are so cute, but I cannot make it work. I have baby-bearing hips and these leggings are too tight and short in the hips; additionally, the knee of the stocking is a bit high. So if you are petite with narrow hips and high knees, these will probably fit just fine.
