I replaced the noisy metal buckets in the vehicle crates with these, and they have made a huge difference in the noise, plus fold up completely out of the way when you don't need water in the crates. My dogs are not destructive, so there have been no issues with chewing etc that might happen if you had a different dog. They are quickly removable if you did need to use your crates for a dog you weren't sure about, or for training new puppies about car ride manners. The smaller size is appealing when you see it, but it holds very little water and my larger dogs can't get their noses into it at all - and if drinking is an effort I find they don't do it enough during travel.

This is a nice addition to my puppy's crate. I was easy to install and seems to be resistant to her chewing. The bowl part comes off the mounted assemble fairly easily as long as it's not completely full of water. I like that it folds up against the side of the crate when not in use. Not sure my pup cares about that, but it suits me to look a little neater.

Update: My pup was able to put a couple of puncture holes in this bowl, which makes it unusable as a water bowl anymore. Disappointed, because I really liked this bowl. She was also somehow able to flip in down into the active position when I left it folded up against the side of the crate. Even with a kong filled with peanut butter in her crate, this seemed to be her favorite thing to chew on. Except for the 2-3 tiny puncture holes, you can hardly tell this is her favorite chew toy.

This bowl is great. It is so nice to be able to fold it up and collapse the wire kennel without worrying about removing the bowl. The bowl detaches easily and is dishwasher safe. Time will tell how well it holds up

I would love it, but the thing that holds the bowl in place in the crate just broke today. Less than 9 months of owning said thing. We haven't moved the bowl holder a lot, and would just remove bowl to refill it, so I would think it would at least last a month.

I guess the plastic parts weren't sturdy enough, and this makes me sad. I really liked how easy it was to put in my dog's crate, and that it was collapsible also was awesome. I can still use the bowl, but can't put it in the crate anymore. :(

Ordered for my dog to attend dog sports with. Loved it so much that I ordered two more for other club members. We all loved them as they were really easy to travel with and there was zero chance of forgetting a bowl. Then one broke... we originally blamed it on the little dog being too rough with it. Then the second one broke and we blamed my dog laying his head on it. Then the third one broke and unfortunately it is due to product design. The clamp to hold the bowl on is plastic and any pressure downwards snaps the plastic. Way too much money to spend on a bowl that broke over a weekend.

This is our second one of these bowls. The first one lasted over a year, but got chewed off eventually. This has good clearance within the crate and can be clamped up, so she doesn't have to drink off the floor. We never use the collapsible function, but it works perfectly if we wanted to.

This is a thick plastic pop in, pop out bowl, which flexes easily. The clamp that holds it to the pen is very sturdy also. The majority of it is a thick sturdy plastic. The best part is the screw is metal and the hold it screws into is also metal. It won't be easy to strip or break off. Excellent quality. The bowl slides sideways to remove. Naturally it takes some pressure to slide it. If it were full of water the movement might slosh the water.

Do no buy this bowl for a puppy. I really wanted to like this bowl. It is pretty and it folds out of the way when not in use. Unfortunately, my puppy loved chewing on it. He made many puncture holes within the first week. I found a stainless steel bowl with kennel attachment that has worked great for us. I wish I had found it first.
