Our rambunctious adolescent german shepherd (7 months old) absolutely loves these fruity snacks as well as the veggie chips while we have peace of mind we're giving him healthier snacks free of preservatives and artificial colors (which can give does the runs which is horrible with indoor dogs!) We store these in a cookie jar by the door. He's learned to ring the bells to ask to go outside, does his business, and hurries back inside knowing he'll be rewarded with his "scooby snack". We use the smaller "chips" for his "#1 trips" and these larger fruity snacks for his "#2 trips".

I appreciate these fruity snacks containing REAL fruit pieces. From the package: "Naturally preserved, with no corn, artificial colors or flavors."

Cranberry & Oatmeal: Contain real bits of cranberries. When our pup initially arrived he seemed to have a bit of a UTI. Unphased we immediately started him on these CRANBERRY fruity snacks. They quickly did the job, he's had absolutely no signs of further UTI issues since those early days. I order 1-2 of these packages per month since they are a great value and help us ensure he maintains great urinary health. Ingredients: whole grain wheat, oat flour, dried cranberries, oatmeal, chicken meal, flaxseed, beet pulp, cane molasses, calcium carbonate, salt, chicken fat.

Apple & Oatmeal: Contain real bits of apple. Ingredients: whole grain wheat, oat flour, dried apples, oatmeal, chicken meal, flaxseed, beet pulp, cane molasses, calcium carbonate, salt, chicken fat.

Bought these on amazon while looking for new healthier treats for our dog. He simply loves these cranberrie oatmeal cookies.

Pros:
Dog tested and approved.
smells good. kinda like a human grade cookie would.
Great sized for my dog who is roughly 40 pounds (would be a bit to small for a 100+ pound dog or to big for under 10)
Its All Natural which is a huge plus in my book.
Made in Australia
The bag it comes in is easily resealable and quite attractive.

Cons:
Is recommended to be used up within 3 weeks of opening and as i like to spice up my dogs treats means i have to use it more then would otherwise.

Overall this is a great snack/cookie for your dog as it is quite health as far as treats go and I am a huge fan. Good job on this one science diet.

I like giving my dogs a new treat once in a while for some variety in their diets. Gabby and Piper are small dogs with petite mouths, the older Piper missing a few teeth. After some initial hesitation, they now take these snacks readily and seem to enjoy them. Because of the size and hardness of the snacks, I break them into pieces before feeding them to my two girls. There are quite a few individual snacks in the bag and the ingredients are more wholesome than those of many other mainstream snacks.

For the money I think this is a very good buy at the current price for an Add On item.

Be aware that the first ingredient is whole grain wheat in case there are any allergy problems with your dog.

My boys are pretty spoiled, and I like to keep random little healthy treats around the house for them. Usually they get chopped carrots, cucumbers, or broccoli, but I like to give them chewy treats as well. I discovered these at the Vet's office during one of their checkups, and immediately bought more. They're a nice mix of fruit and oats, and my big dogs love them. It's just a couple of crunches, but I bury it under their dry food in the morning, and it's a way to ensure that my fussy younger dog will eat all of his food to get his treat.

While they're very easy for my big dogs to chew, we're currently dogsitting for my father in law, and his Shitzu can't get through them. He doesn't have any jaw or teeth problems, he just isn't able to bite through, so I have to crumble it for him - once it's crumbled, he loves it. Just an FYI for folks with small dogs.

These are my dogs' favorite treats. They're beside themselves with frustration when I don't give them a second one, which I never do with any treat. But since introducing these, our well behaved and patient dogs have become beggars! I actually caught my Havanese INSIDE the cabinet we store the treats in with the door closed. She somehow worked it open and it shut on her as she looked further back for the Fruity Snacks bag among the dozen or so variety that were in there. I heard rustling and thought it was a mouse...then when I opened the cabinet door, she fell out backwards. Most hilarious incident ever. She jumps over 4 feet high in the air when she sees this bag. One of these days, I'm going to sneak a bite to see just what the hub bub is about.

These are a VERY convenient size. My dogs are 13-15 pounds and one of them has only half her teeth. So it is hard for her to chew on harder materials. However, I don't like using just soft chews. These are a bit smaller than the size of an oreo round, but larger than a quarter round. They are hard treats, but chew/crumble easily. They provide more than a small bitty training treat, but not a whole meal.

I use subscribe and save and get a GREAT deal on having one of these delivered every month.
