I picked this for my 9 and 5 year olds based on the glowing reviews. But if you look closely at the reviewers you'll see that the only reviews they've given are for other Imperial Toy products. And glowing reviews at that! Paid reviewers or employees??? Either way total FRAUD!

Fraud aside, the sling shot is extremely hard to use for both my 9 year old and 5 year old. The 5 year old can't load the ammo at all, and the 9 year quickly became frustrated with it. The ammo keeps slipping off and really needs adult sized hands to load and pull. In addition, the ammo is quite delicate and in less then a day we've already had 2 of the 6 ammo break. Total junk.

My son (and whole cub scout den) were very excited to receive these as Christmas presents. Sadly, the excitement turned into frustration. The balls didn't fire well, rarely making it just 5 feet to the target, and the hooks break.

All my kids got one for christmas and after trying countless times to get the product to work correctly, they pretty much gave up and moved on. I thought it would be easier to use, but my 6 year old had a lot of trouble, and the target light is a little hard to aim with. Not something I would recommend.

The kids love the toy and te sling shot effect. It does not stick every where as I observed but they love it. It was a christmas gift for them. I would reccommend this game and buy multiples so kids can play together.

Son wanted a sling shot. I know the damage I did as a kid with a sling shot. Found this toy to be a good alternative to a traditional sling shot. Rocks and other things cannot be used with it, what a clever design. Laser light for aiming is great feature.
