First I have to say this is a quality product. It's nice to look at and made well. Strips are very soft, this is an excellent product for beginners. We didn't realize until testing it but there were two small staples in the ends of two separate strips. If not for that I would rate this product five stars

She loves when I get this one out and use on her, she cant get enough and is very multiple during the session. Its the perfect length for close swings if she is riding me or if she is tied up. She REALLY loves the sting of the leather and when I turn it around and use the glass handle in her. With the texture of the handle and ball on the end its enough to send her over the top many times. She has told me before that this is her favorite toy that we use.

It seems to be constructed very well, the glass handle is flawless and the perfect weight and it seems to be the perfect number of leather strands. It seems to be 3 toys in 1 with the whip snapping against the skin, but you can also use it for sensory play by dragging the strands slowly across the skin and using the handle as an orifice invader.

My wife has recommended it to some of her friends that she is more open with. The price was really good for all of the enjoyment we get out of using this whip.

Received the Icicles No.38 within 5 days of ordering as a somewhat surprise to the wife.I slipped it under her pillow so that she would see it when she went to bed. She was very anxious to open it. Upon opening we did notice the smell and and small amount of particulate fallout, nowhere near what i expected of either from other reviews. Like others have said the whips themselves seem to be the perfect amount of pleasure and pain depending on the aggression level. Seemed just enough to make her twitch upon contact in an enjoyable way. The glass section is also very nice with good,nicely defined ridges along the shaft. I can honestly say this is the first glass toy that she said she could definitely feel the texture. It is also a little larger in diameter and longer than any of our other glass toys, which may have helped. I always thought the others were a little too small. The bulbous end is awesome. It is approximately the size of a golf ball and easily hits all the right spots;-).

This flogger is passable. For < $30, it is a decent quality item.

The handle is fairly heavy (borosilicate, nice, easy to clean), which is great. It's also pretty slick, so it can be a lot of fun.

The tresses, on the other hand, leave something to be desired. Initially, they feel pretty nice (soft, flexible, but still a bit firm), but as you attempt to use it, you notice that it is extremely difficult to get a good *thud* from this. The tresses are simply too thin to be adequate.

If you want to get by, or need a beginner set, this would be a good tool. If you've been doing this kind of thing for a while, stick to the better quality (and more expensive) floggers.

This is interesting. The "handle" is an interesting glass dildo that should be good for insertion and temp play. It has a lot of ribbing on it that sort of keeps it from slipping in flogger mode. However, it is way too heavy countering the falls even at full swing. Your army will get tired fast. And you can't really give it a full swing cause it will probably fly out of your hand if you do. That's okay. That's one piece of equipment trying to do too many things, but it's cool looking and could be good for sensory play.

The falls though, that's the real problem. I read the reviews and knew they were crap. I know they will break off on the first real use or so. But, I also think I can replace them with some proper leather and a good turkshead at the joint. I was surprised though at just how bad it is. The thing shed everywhere, and I mean everywhere, direct out of the box. It was and continues to be ridiculous. The falls are two narrow. Probably quarter inch or less. And they're way too think. I'm not sure what leather was used, but it is not dense enough for the job. I can't really get a proper thud out of this. It will never sting.

This is poor execution of a good concept. But then it's pretty inexpensive. So, if you think you can modify it after the falls come apart or you just don't care about tossing away $20 on something that really is pretty cool looking & can be used effectively for sensory play, then go for it.

Initial impressions: Larger than I expected, gorgeous, and sturdy enough to use.

Pros:
-Full-size. The pictures made me think the handle portion was on the small side, which was fine given that this is supposed to be a whip that happens to double as a dildo. In reality this is definitely a full-size toy in either configuration. The handle is at least 1"x6" or more, expanding a bit at the ball end. Given the intended use, that's more than enough. The whip is massive, it's more than enough for teasing and use.
-Forgiving, but rough enough. A firm whack is just perfect for causing short-lived red marks. For beginners this is perfect, you don't have to worry about hitting "too hard". Experienced users will likely find this is perfect as foreplay.
-Gorgeous. A lot of good glass toys are beautiful enough to keep up on the shelf as an art piece, and this is a great example. This piece is lovely to look at.

Cons:
-Out of the box the leather is shedding pretty heavily, likely the result of a relatively cheap cutting process without any care given to conditioning the product for use. You'll want to give this product a workout and conditioning before using it, which is the norm for leather products, but this one involves a lot of fuzz. The makers could give it a little bit of a shakedown before shipping it.
-No bag or case included, you only get the product in molded foam.

Highly recommended. I'd only hesitate on this product if you're looking for a harder, shinier leather. As a nice soft teaser / beginner product, this is near to perfect.
