As a new dog owner - I felt that I had to get all new "stuff" for my best friend. - Saw this and thought that it would be perfect............. and it is!!! The individual customization is Great. The customer service steller.

I ordered the ID Plate, sent my personal customization information, and the plate arrived within 2 days! I used super saver shipping.

The plate itself is of good quality - whereby allow the plate to bend enough to lay flat on the new collar.

My only negitive - the rivets - for the life of me, I can't figure how to get them to stay together - this may take some McGiverisum (that's why they only got 4 stars from me)

UPDATE
Ok - so here's the deal with the rivets - they send 3 different sizes for variable thickness of collars - that is a good thing - once you determine the correct rivet - determint the "front" and "back" place rivet through name tag -and through collar - place the back on - then using a hammer - smack it a few times on a hard surface (I used my patio floor) and you've got a great solid connection

now I would give it 5 stars

I purchased three of these for our active retrievers. While installation was easy enough, the depth of the etching concerned me. As others have noted, the etching does not last very long, especially on dogs that are frequently outdoors and generally behaving as dogs will. Within a couple of months the etching was difficult to read, and now the information is no longer legible, and therefore the tags useless. While I like the concept of this type of tag, I must recommend against this particular tag unless you have an indoor, low energy dog.

I have tried other companies but the type was not clear and easy to read or scrunched and small. This tag is larger than I expected - should have measured - but it is what they said it would be. It did fit and worked just fine. I only needed one set of the brads - I have never used them before and worried that they would bend or not be easy to manage. I appreciate the reserve that was sent but fortunately I did not need them. Easy to deal with this company and they provide thier product very rapidly. Thanks Mary

Solid brass nameplate with brass rivets delivered in 2 days for $6.99. Wow! This was a great deal. I had my dog's name and our phone numbers etched on 3 lines. They are deeply etched so they should wear well. I have to say, not having ever used rivets, that part took some time, but worked out perfectly. Both of my dogs harnesses are 3/4" wide, so the nameplate, which is also 3/4" wide, just fit. If your collar is narrower than 3/4" wide, you really can't use this nameplate.

Highly recommended!

This is the best kind of name tag, im sure it wont come off the collar and it is very easy to see. When I recieved it i used the cap rivets to put it on my dogs nylon collar, i just used the sharper ones in the bag to make the whole for one side then inserted it and capped it then did the other side then i took one cap off put e6000 glue on it and hit it together with a hammer till it was flush with the collar. I then bent it to be naturally round like the collar, my dog didnt even know I added it to her collar, her old one was the dangly kind she got it off immediatly. This one is not touching her skin and not making any noise I am in love with it, and will buy another as soon as she needs a new collar as long as the engraving doesnt wear off.. It had enough room to put her name our address our phone number and the last 4 digits of our other number as well. ty for a great product.

We can not get the rivets to work. All of them bent when trying to connect to collar. My husband is strong and an engineer, so it wasn't that he didn't have the skills. These tags are sitting in the drawer, as he hasn't found replacement rivets to affix them. They arrived exactly as stated, and quickly- great service. I just wish I could actually use them. Extra rivets should be sent for the ones that don't work. Love the product, if I could only use it. Very disappointed...as the whole concept is great.

When I ordered the Brass Name Tag For Dog Collar With 3 Set Rivet Pet ID Plate, I was pleased with the beautiful engraving and the exact information I requested. It was easy the rivet to my dog’s collar. In a matter of two weeks the tag was so scratch it was hard to read. This would not help someone trying to call my phone number to return my dog. Not a smart buy.
