I having been walking in the 3day Breast cancer walk for 5yrs. 60miles over 3days! I have always had problems with blisters and have tried virtually every product on the market and still get blisters. Started using Hikegoo about 3 months ago during my training walks and NO blisters. And it washes out of the socks so I don't have to throw out my socks like i did when i used Vaseline! THis product is worth every penny!!!

I am an avid hiker and normally use duct tape directly on the skin to prevent blisters, so I was looking for an alternative to this practice. The directions say to "thickly cover heels, toes and soles"... which for two feet, takes up a lot of product. So while it did prevent major blisters, and my feet did feel soft when I was done, the cost of the goo (which is almost gone after a few hikes), vs. a roll of duct tape that will last a couple of seasons, does not justify the cost. But if you just need it a few times a year, well worth it. :-) Also this stuff has a lot of oils in it, so your hands are covered in this oily film as well. It is the consistency of White Grease. Not trying to discount the product, but just thinking of long distance hikers that may be thinking of using the product who do not always have access to de-greasing soap and water.

I LOVE this stuff. It has literally saved me and kept me hiking. I have tried EVERYTHING to avoid blisters and hot spots when hiking. This stuff is the first thing that's ever worked. And I run really hot so regardless my feet always sweat when hiking...not even that is an issue. And when I take my socks off the places where I put it are nice and soft. Bonus! I'm about to order my 3rd tube of the stuff and it won't be the last. It's a bit pricey but I won't complain since its keeping me on the trails.

My heels have a tendency to get quarter sized blisters whenever I hike in any boot (this goes for hiking boots, backcountry ski boots, White's fire boots, etc.)... based on my one test so far, HikeGoo is a magic bullet, completely preventing my heels from getting blisters or even hot spots.

I was holidaying with family last year and had to face two days on my feet at Disneyland. I'm overweight, get sore feet, and cannot keep up with my family, so I thought Disneyland was going to be "torture holiday". My dad gave me a sample pack of Hike Goo and said it helped him. I couldn't believe it! The two days were so much fun, I had the time of my life. I never had any foot problems and enjoyed myself thoroughly with a new set of runners and goo on my feet. I've run out of my sample, so thank you Amazon for having this stuff. I didn't know where to get it before googling it.

I began using Hike Goo 6 months ago. I'm a diabetic and remain very active in business and outdoor activities.

Having my feet free from sores and blisters is comfort as well as a medical necessity. A simple application prior to a round of golf guarantees my feet will be 'happy'.

I also brought the Hike Goo to Las Vegas to use while hosting our company trade show at G2E. Again, at the end of the day, my feet felt great.

I now use the product daily and have discovered a new bounce to my step....

Thank you Hike Goo crew...!!!

Ken

This stuff is awesome! So I started working at a job that required me to constantly be on my feet. One week in my feet are ravaged by blisters. I went ahead and bought some heavy duty "work" insoles and that didn't help much at all. I decided it was the shoes causing me problems so I went ahead and bought some new shoes and that actually helped out a lot. The blisters were gone for about three weeks when I noticed they were on their way back. Before it got to the point of them erupting out of my feet though I decided to give this product a shot and actually jump out ahead of the problem. I slathered the cream around the parts of my feet that I would commonly get blisters on and hoped for the best. It's been a few months and NO BLISTERS since using this product! It feels like there's this protective film around your foot and you definitely know it's there but you quickly forget about it once your day gets going. HikerGoo in combination with a good pair of shoes equal no more blisters. Stop debating whether or not you should buy this and give it a shot! What do you have to lose other than some damn blisters?

Tried this out on a long and steep hike of 14 miles and 4,000ft through some late season melt-out so the trail was wet. The day before I had gone out in similar conditions without foot problems but HikeGoo didn't prevent some serious blisters from forming in the usual places. I even got a blister on the arch of my foot which is quite unusual. At the end of the day my feet were still macerated and the stuff had rubbed off best I could tell.
