I received the cane in "Poppies" color which turned out to be beautiful, especially for a woman. It came with a water repellent bag so that when you fold it you have a nice pouch to carry it.

This arrived just in time as I spained my ankle and needed some support walking. I was pleasantly surprised at the good/high quality of this cane. I also liked that I could adjust it to my height (not very tall).

I also liked that it was easy to fold and the velcro that keeps it closed.

I highly recommend this cane for when you need something that is lightweight, pretty and useful.

My 91-year-old father has Peripheral Artery Disease in his legs which makes it hard for him to walk. He struggles to walk across the room and is loathe to use a cane or walker because he says they make him look "old." When I presented him with his new Switch Sticks Folding Stick he didn't even want to look at it. I left it on the couch, in the box, next to him and went about my business. I knew curiosity (and necessity) would get the best of him. A couple of hours later I returned and, sure enough, he was tooling around the house cane in hand.

I didn't want to make a big deal about it but I casually asked him how he liked the cane. He said "this is the kind I have been looking for." He liked it because it is very stylish and almost futuristic looking. He liked that it could be quickly disassembled and put away in the event a hot looking senior citizen lady crossed his path. It is a very sturdy cane and the hand grip is attractive and functional. The bottom has a secure grip that adheres to the floor without being sticky.

I couldn't be happier that my dad has finally found a walking stick that meets his almost unreasonably high standards. This was no small feat. Switch Sticks has come up with a device that is attractive, comes in a multitude of colors and is easy to manipulate. A very, very good product. Highly recommended.

I had a folding walking stick that I seem to have misplaced during a move a few years ago. Because of recurring back pain, I have been thinking about buying a new one to keep in the car in case I have a flare-up away from home. An offer to try the Switch Sticks Folding Walking Stick seemed like a good opportunity.

This is a well-designed and well-made folding walking stick. It comes with a storage bag, a hook & loop strap to hold it in the folded position, and a sturdy wrist lanyard on the handle. It is height-adjustable to accommodate most users. It comes in at least 20 designs that should satisfy most customers. According to the manufacturer's web site, new designs are introduced twice a year.

Taking off the strap and shaking the cane slightly will let it snap out to full length. Once it has unfolded, there doesn't seem to be any easy way that one of the joints could come apart or collapse. It has a good, strong feel that seems quite reliable. Over the course of what should be many, many years, the elastic cable that maintains the tension might lose its ability to hold the sections tightly in place. At that point, you would want to replace the stick.

Got this beautiful walking stick for my father. And he loved it from the start. Gone is the grey-senior citizen-looking old school cane which was the only style offered to him by the insurance company. Now he's Stylin.
But besides being pretty it is also practical.
When he's goes out to dinner, his cane no longer needs to hang off the edge of the table or on the back of his chair and get in the way. Nowadays, he justs folds up this slim yet sturdy walking stick and it dissapears into his sports coat pocket.
Bravo! A great invention !

That is how I would sum up this walking stick, sturdy and stylish. I am letting my Mom use it because she is having knee issues and needs the support walking. She is tall and over 200 lb so a lot of walking sticks are either too short or too unsteady, but this one works well for her. It is very sturdy and well-built. Canes or walking sticks are usually so blah in appearance, but it's nice these are so fashionable on top of being high functioning. Very satisfied with it, both in performance and looks.

I used a cane shaped just like this, though it was non-collapsable, when I had my hip replaced. Comparing them, this is just as sturdy (at least for my use) and it adds convenience of compactly collapsing. One of the folks I talk to at concerts uses one and she is extremely happy with it. When I was using my non-collapsable cane it was a real PITA going to concerts... no where convenient to put the darned thing! This one comes with a bag and a velcro strap to keep it tidy while not in use. It's very simply set up or collapsed. Highly recommend it if you require assistance for walking!

I received this product from Amazon Vine recently, and all I can say is WOW! I have some difficulty walking long distances, but I was very impressed by this folding walking stick. When I'm in the car it fits in my bag, and when I go to the mall all I have to do is unfold it and I'm ready to go. It also helps me when I'm trying to navigate steps. I would recommend this product to anyone who has issues with mobility, or who just needs a little extra help walking.
