I have lifted for years but without a belt. I had some bad experiences because I was using the cheap leather belts you normally find at the gym. Then I started getting into powerlifting, and a few years later I got this bad boy. This was hands down the best investment I have ever made with lifting gear. If you do powerlifting, you need a belt like this. Don't go cheap, it's worth the extra money to get a quality belt.

Ordered this for our teenage son. It came in a box about five feet long, as the leather is SO thick it would have been difficult to bend it into packaging without it bursting out! He will never need another weight belt, unless he loses this or it gets stolen (hope not!) He has been asked about the belt as he has been lifting, it's impressive and wonderful quality. I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

It's really tight, have a good fit, it's confortable, well made and looks very durable. The only complaint that I have about it, is that que material in whitch the belt is coated is not the same as in the photo showed, is a lower quality than is the photo. The last thing I could say is BUY IT is a really good powerbelt.

Really like my purchased Grizzly 13mm belt. Nice and the firm, great for supporting your back and abs when lifting heavy loads. I would have given the belt 5 stars except that the tip of the belt is peeling back some where it is layered and fixed to other leather layers. It can be glued. No big deal, but it should not be peeling back at all.

I've had this belt for a month and it's been very solid until recently. The belt has started tearing on the inside on the edge as well as within the holes that I clip to.

Wearing the belt felt very good, but I'm hoping I can get some customer support regarding the tearing of the belt. I don't do more than deadlift/squat with the belt, which is what it is advertised for.

Out of box it is stiff like every 4 inch belt but after a couple of tube videos on how to break it in feels great on. My personal trainer said it was a great belt. Seems like a great investment into your personal health.

this is a great belt, no doubt about it, however it will take quite some time to break in, no doubt about it :) As long as you know what you are buying, I give you no reason to pause, but know this, you will have to be deliberate with break in time.
