First off the lights are exactly as described. I bought these for a Table in a Box light string set of fifteen. However I just couldn't quite bring myself to spring for another box of 12 so I could fill in the missing three needed to complete the light set. When I go the box all were intact and functioning but I noticed that the box would normally hold 15 lights!!! I wont speculate on where the other three went but it seems a bit odd to not throw in the other three that obviously were in the box at one point! Check around for singles of this light on Amazon, check shipping costs and see if 15 singles come in at a lower price. EDIT: I did some followup on this and several vendors here on Amazon sell the identical Bulbrite brand of bulb in several colors. Current pricing for a single amber is $0.82 a piece. The cost of 15 (with shipping) is just over a buck more than the 12 here. Amazon is a great marketplace and I'm constantly learning how to shop it hard for the best deals. Be a smart buyer and learn from my experiences.

Well they work, only one was received broken, and the yellow coating appears to be on the inside rather than outside so they are holding up fine outside on the patio- they don't produce a lot of light - definitely for ambiance.

We just installed Table in a Bag SL5015 outdoor commercial lights and these were recommended by Amazon for that application. The bulbs came in the shipment with the lights and I installed these bulbs. They look great - not too bright, just perfect. Unfortunately, these lights are quite delicate little things and two (out of 24 I ordered) arrived broken.

Be aware that in the fall, which is when I bought them, the 11 watt may not be bright enough.

Some of the earlier reviews for the heavy duty string set these are intended for, were primarily used in the summer. I wanted them to light up my pergola area in the backyard and prevent the area from looking like a big black hole in the middle of winter. This wattage isn't nearly bright enough and will have to be replaced. 40 watts will be much more effective.
Additionally, one of the bulbs arrived broken.

Very poor quality- the glass broke away from the metal socket within a few weeks of being installed outdoors. I've been picking the broken glass out of my garden!

I purchased a heavy duty outdoor light string from this company and I love the lights - when they work. Unfortunately the life of these bulbs are approximately 12 - 18 hours - tops. That means I can use them for two or three evenings before they need to be replaced and these bulbs are not cheap. They are a low watt bulb necessary for this type of lighting and they look really cool on my patio, kind of old fashioned.

I will have to find an alternative source since these are not affordable. I have not contacted the company directly yet, but I do intend to.
