The only drawback is the excessive flexibility of the neck, which makes the light sagging and not staying in the position set by the owner. Not a problem when your laptop is on the table, but an inconvenience when you are using it on a couch or in bed.

Hello,

This is 1 of the best detail oriented type of devices I have seen in awhile, that's actually reasonably priced. I like that it has loads of LED's that are super bright for their size and a very flexible neck that at the end where the lights casing is you can turn the casing a complete 360° without any damage, and you can turn it on & off unlike most units of this type you don't have that option. The only negative I have and very miniscule disappointment in that it's neck length is a little shorter than I wanted, but I use a workaround for that inconvenience in the form of using usb m/m and f/f straight(solid piece no wires) coupler to give it some more extension, for comfort of not having to move it constantly out of the way of my Laptops screen.

This is a great, very bright, 28-LED USB-mounted lamp. Its area of useful illumination is significantly larger than other USB LEDs I have used. I illuminates my 17-inch laptop keyboard quite well. And, mercifully, it has an On/Off slide switch.

I had the Ritelite LPL792XLB Wireless 5-LED Touch-On USB/Battery-Operated Computer/Book Light which was great while it lasted but soon malfunctioned and finally died.

The Ritelite consisted of a very nice, male USB-mounted, 5-LED gooseneck lamp and a 3xAAA battery box with a sub-standard, extra narrow, extra-deep female USB receptacle which will _not_ accommodate most other USB LEDs.

The nice and very useful aspects of the battery box are BOTH a thin, long clip on one side which will fit the back of a hardcover book AND an embedded (flush-mount), dime-sized magnet on the the reverse side.

THE GOOD NEWS is not only is this Gino LED lamp nice and bright for use as a keyboard light but its narrow USB plug also inserts easly into the Ritelite's battery box -- that makes this very bright LED lamp quite portable. I am very pleased!

ICING ON THE CAKE: this Gino LED has a smooth operating On/Off slide switch so it is not necessary to plug/unplug it to control the light.

a perfect solution for my very early morning computer use. I don't like the very bright overhead lamp shining into my eyes at 2 am in the morning before work while my retinas are still adjusting. This Gino flex neck lamp is the absolutely right idea to give light the only place it is needed; on the keyboard. I simply plug it into an open USB port on my desktop tower and aim it to the keyboard for ample yet soft light. All for not too much money. There is a switch to turn it off when it is no longer needed (without having to unplug it). And obviously the neck is sturdy and bendable for the perfect angle. Powered by seven rows of four LED 'pins', For the money, it's just perfect.

bought this lamp to use with my laptop but it put out more light than i wanted so I plugged it into my Flatscreen tv to replace a hard to reach table lamp with the on off switch i can easily turn it off when not needed and it lights up that area nicely at night . it even gives about 5 second of light after i turn off the tv. the usb plug doesn't fit as snugly as i think it should but where its placed and what its used for i don't foresee any problems . all in all a decent product for the price

I plan to purchase four of these lights to go in my tiny house's loft area - two in each side. I purchased one first, to see just how bright it gets, and I'm very happy with its output! It's a very white output - not too blue. I'll be putting two of these in each dual-USB outlet on each side of the sleeping loft of my tiny house, and I'm very excited to see how it looks with all four of them installed.

I really like that these have a switch on the top to turn them on/off, as some of the flexible 28-LED USB lights don't have switches.
