I was told by Amzer (via chat on their support website) that this would fit my iPhone 5 or 5S just like their Shell Holster Case Combo I used with my iPhone 4S (which was a fantastic product!). So I ordered it in time to have it for the arrival of my 5S. As with most first orders of the 5S mine came in a couple weeks. I immediately noticed that the cover didn't wrap around the front edges as it should. This causes the screen to rest precariously close to any surface when laid face down. Because the front edges don't close in around the front of the phone the sides of the case are not parallel to each other so as you hold the phone to talk the phone edges are not "square" with each other. I've tried these covers on two iPhone 5Ss and an iPhone 5. It doesn't fit any of them.
I contacted Amzer and what transpired was at least three chats and five emails required to jump through all the hoops to get a replacement. I first contacted them on Oct 11th and a replacement was finally mailed Nov 25th. THE REPLACEMENT DOESN'T FIT ANY BETTER! They know the problem exists from this quote in an email from their Senior Executive of Operations: "If the edges are not getting covered, it might be possibility, that particular one may have some defect."
I also suspect the run-around was to keep me from requesting an Amazon return which expired a week after I contacted Amzer.
I will never buy an Amzer product again. I would buy an Amzer product from Amazon knowing that I could return it immediately because Amazon CS is great. I just don't think I want to put Amazon through the trouble either.
I also feel Amazon should drop Amzer products, or at least stop selling these poor fitting Shelsters for the 5/5S until Amzer proves they have a batch of them that actually fit the phone.
