Seems to be a good value, no longer then we have had them for now. they have a decent range, we have had them at around 3 miles and they worked really good at that range (out in the country) NOT in town....this makes a HUGE difference to all sorts of radios as to their range....

Great small size two-way radios that have a great battery capacity. Easy to program and use. Kids(7&9 yrs old) were able to use themselves. Can easily activate lock button so no accidental channel changes occur. Range is good enough for use while snowboarding/skiing on the mountains. Can easily hear call tone when activated and easy to push talk button even with snow gloves on.

I want to say it is good but can't. Bought 2 pairs. Opened 1st pair, when turn VOX on,1 of them can't use talk button,1 of then is able to??? Then opened 2nd pair, same thing again! Called cust svc, was told that the talk button is not supposed to work when VOX is on? But when LE is least sensitive, how to get message through? Have not tested privacy codes. Wish that when VOX is set on, talk button still works, no harm to have the extra option, right? Somehow feel the items are unreliable when 2 units out of the 2 pairs work differently.
