I bought these based on the other reviews here and while they did the job they were supposed to do they are pretty flimsy. The protective portion is a plastic insert into what appears to be a sweatband type setup. However the protective portion doesn't go all the way around so you do need to align it with where the KB will hit your forearms.

After about a month of use 3x4 times per week mine started falling to bits so I replaced them with a pair of Harbinger ones that are a bit longer in length of the protection, and the protection itself goes all the way around my forearm. Clearly the Harbinger product is of a better quality and at $20 I expect it will prove to be the better investment in the longer term.

I would only buy the CFF product if I was an infrequent KB user.

These wrist guards paid off from the moment I first put them on - they "seriously" protect my wrists when we are in the "rest mode" and I do not feel any effort or stress on my wrists during our exercises. I also LOVE Pink! My favorite color! I should have purchased two pair!

This is a good idea for beginning kettlebell users. Will come in especially handy for when you are just learning the mechanics of kettlebell cleans and snatches. It is just an oversized wrist sweatband with a plastic plate sewn in, so I do worry about the longevity of the fabric after repeated usage--mine has already started becoming frazzled after 10 workouts.

I like these wrist guards. They are a "must have" if you want to do bench presses with your kettle bells. If you're do snatches and are banging the hell out of your wrists your not doing the exercise correctly. Also they fit perfect for me with thin wrists.

just a wrist band with a hard piec of plastic to protect your forearm. I put them on, grabbed a kettle bell and they work.
Dont expect them to last forever as the material is fuzzy..and thin...but they do the job and the price is right

YOU ADJUST THEM UP OR DOWN DEPENDING ON WHERE THE KETTLEBELL HITS YOU. I DON'T KNOW HOW DURABLE OR HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST, BUT THEY DO SEEM MORE THAN ADEQUATE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.
