This is hands down the best heavy duty steering I've installed on my LJ. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and get this kit vs. The currectlync or jks kits. This is solid, heavier, and thicker than the oem hollow light tie rod, and oem light drag link. The zerk tie rod end boots are okay, but hold up well, for the money saved you can order better boots and install them onto these...
This order came shipped in protective sleeves, plastic caps to protect tie rod ends, and grade 8 hardware. I also enjoy the adjusting sleeve found on the tie rod, as the stock tie rod did not have one, and doing an alignment used to scratch the oem tie rod up- no more with the easily adjustable sleeve. I am currently rolling on 35's with this crown steering kit.

One of the clamp bolts stripped when tightened, luckily, I had spares (otherwise, I'd been in trouble)

Had a bit of death wobble working its way in from time to time and I in replacing tie rod ends I figured it was a good opportunity to beef-up the tierod. This is much better than the stock TJ one, solid and as exactly what I needed.

I'd read that you could use the drag link on the TJ as well and that they were 'identical', which isn't the case. It will work if you're up to cutting an inch of the threaded side off over by the adjustment collar on the drag link. Did that, now it works just fine.

Got this for my 2004 Rubicon. Well built. Definitely beefier than stock. Only quibble I have with it is that there were two dust boots missing in the package. Also, as recommended, after installation, I am to grease the zirks. The TRE's do not want to accept grease. The gun just builds up pressure and leaks around the zirk. The pitman arm takes grease just fine. I called crown automotive and talked to a nice guy that simply told me that he never heard of such a thing and that if I wasnt satisfied I should return it to amazon. Well, considering that my old setup is now in a metal recycling plant and the fact that my jeep is currently utilizing the crown setup, it's not going anywhere. Haha. I'm hoping that with time the TRE's will loosen up and accept grease. I'm sure they will.

Good product, 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Replaced lightwieght tie rod link extending from right wheel draglink with a heavy duty solid tie rod link. Hopig it helps eliminate DW. Either way I have all new tie rod ends and a new heavy duty tie rod link. The Jeep original was a 1" hollow rod, the replacment was a over 1", solid and a single tie rod end. Much stronger!

The draglink on this linkage is the same as stock for my LJ so no upgrade achieved there. Tie rod is an upgrade and is the same that what you'd find on a V8 ZJ. THis is a good upgrade if you're running bigger tires and a small lift on a TJ or XJ. I blew out the tie rod end at the pitman arm already after about 3 months but not a huge deal, I've got extras. I'd recommend just going to the parts store and buying the ZJ parts as they will probably end up being cheaper than this kit. Two ES3096 right hand thread tie rod ends, one DS1312 tie rod and one DS1311 drag link. Part numbers are from Autozone but any good parts store should be able to reference them. Just tell them its for a 1998 Grand CHerokee with the V8, not the 6 cylinder.

Arrived with damaged threads on the tie rod that had to be filed out before use. Additionally, one of the tie rod grease boots was damaged and had to be replaced. Product bolted directly in, and is a much more substantial part than the original. Immediately had an alignment done and went on a 3000 mile road trip and had no concerns.
