My 17 month old son loves these forks and has no trouble using them. He's able to easily pierce food with the prongs, but they are not pointy enough to hurt him. Just perfect.

These spoons are perfect in handling for a 2 + year old s that arebt quite ready for adult size spoons but are beyond infant spoons. They are durable and tough and cute!! My little one loves them and handles them well and gets enough food on the sppon without it being too much. SO this limits spilling. If you have 18 month/1.5 year old-3 year old I recommend this product.
4 and above they should be able to use adult size utensils.

I love these spoons for my toddler. Their length and thickness of handle is perfect for her to easily bring to her mouth in the awkward learning stage she is in. The spoon end is also big enough to hold a decent mouthful of food for her (she has a big mouth). I like the fact that the spoon is metal as well because the edge is thinner than the silicone spoons and she can scoop more easily. Good all around.

Our toddler loves these Gerber forks. They are easy for her to hold, and the shallow shape of the fork end makes it easy for her to scoop up food as well as to stick it, so this works like a combination spoon and fork. The forks are big enough to get a good-sized bite but not too big to fit in her mouth. We've washed these forks in the dishwasher countless times with the other metal utensils, and they still look pristine with no wear to the plastic, no fading of the color, and no separation of the fork from the handle.

Easy for the toddler to hold. Prongs are not sharp enough to injure hands or fingers but work well enough to stab soft foods like fruit pieces, well cooked meats, etc. I do wish Amazon offered the option of choosing your color.

Perfect forks for infants/toddlers learning to feed themselves. They aren't sharp, but can collect food (such as veggies, pasta, etc.) a lot easier than a baby spoon. They are also short enough to where they can lift the utensil to their mouth without having to hold the fork awkwardly close to the fork's head. My daughter loved using these at 12mo old and still does months later.
