This is a cute well made plush doll. I have to say I was a bit disappointed when it arrived because it looked so small. I first thought it was the 6" Caillou but after measuring it measures from head to toe it was 10" not the 12" as stated in the description. I wish I would have known that before purchasing it. There are other Caillou dolls listed on Amazon that state 10" but I wanted the bigger size. Oh well.

My 20 month old LOVES Caillou! I know a lot of parents really dislike Caillou because of his behavior on the show but it's done to teach lessons. Even I myself didn't like the show much in the beginning. Anyway, my son has loved Caillou for a while now. We bought this plush for him for Valentine's Day. Big hit! Best thing about this is it's machine washable. It's a good size too. I thought about getting the 7" but felt it would have been too small. 11" is prefect size. He takes Caillou everywhere and even feeds so he will need a good washing soon! I recommend this plush for any child that's a Caillou fan. It's the only thing my son has ever taken with him everywhere. The cutest sight is to see him holding him in bed.

My oldest son has a total obsession with Caillou. We have just about every Caillou toy on the market. Our six month wanted something of his own (atleast so we think!) We decided to purchase this 11" plush Caillou. We are truly very happy with it. It's 100% soft and cuddly for our little one. There is no pieces that could come off. The eyes and everything is secured to the doll. No choking hazards for this Caillou!

This plush doll is also pretty detailed. I've seen some dolls that look nothing like Caillou..it looks identical to the TV show. The only problem with this is now my oldest son wants him! Looks loke we will be making another purchase!

Come on Amazon and seller! If going to list as a lightening deal, for parents buying for children or grandchildren, at least get the information correct, this is not even close to the description on the item. By the time repackaged, sent back and get refund to buy another doll likely too late for Christmas. Folks read the reviews, this doll is not 12 inches, not even close. I wish I had had the time to read the reviews I wouldn't have purchased this item. My grandson who is 2 likely won't know much of a difference, but I will. One of the most disappointing Amazon purchase I have ever made. Word of warning, check out the details on the lightening purchases.

Bought this for my daughter who just loves Caillou. It seems to be well made and she enjoys playing with it. It is rather smaller then I thought it would be though. The main reason I gave this doll 3 stars is cause it looks kinda cheaply made (even tho it seems to hold up well) and it looks a little creepy to me. But my child likes it and thats what matters. Its soft, the clothes can come off with exception of the shoes and hat, and there are no hard pieces to get hurt with

The five stars are on behalf of my little granddaughter who just loves Caillou (the doll and the program). Frankly, I find the show a bit saccharine and the little boy rather unappealing, but she loves him and the show holds her attention. She was delighted to find this under the tree and hugs him constantly. The doll is well made and resembles the 'original' in every way. There's no accounting for tastes, though I hope her taste in men improves as time goes on.

This is a great cuddily Caillou, it is large enough for a little one, and remember sometimes mom or grandma has to carry it thru the store. I did not order the large hard faced Caillou as I read and saw a pic that they attach his head with a plastic 1/4 in wide pull tie that is sharp where cut off and could possibly scratch a toddlers face if a big hug is given. If your little one is 3 or more I might consider the larger. My granddaughter is only 1 and needed the softie.
