Very comfortable road shoe

This is a great shoe. Very light and comfortable. I wear a size 11 to 11.5 sneaker and the size 46 fit perfectly. It is my first SPD bicycle shoe and the only advice I have for anyone buying an all around 3 point and 2 point convertible cleat shoe is that if you plan to use the 2 point SPD cleat then make sure you get the Shimano SM-SH40 Cleat Adaptor 3-Bolt To 2-Bolt. This adapter gives the shoe firmness around the cleat, like a mountain bike shoe does and aids in guiding the cleat into the pedal. The shoe will work with the SPD cleat without the adapter but walking is very difficult. The description for the shoe was very incomplete as was the description for the adapter. I have bought the adapter and am very happy with the shoe.

Good shoe

Great shoe. Easy to pull on and off. I was concerned that it might be too small but there was actually plenty of room. I typically wear 10.5 and the 45 fit well. Took a little bit of getting used to a "stiff" shoe but I'm completely satisfied with it. I paired it with the Shimano PD R-540 and they work like a dream. Much faster and more efficient than just having standard pedals.

Comfortable Shoe

I received these last week and have put about 100 miles on my recumbent machine with these shoes. I am getting ready for riding my recumbent in the spring (It's too cold out in New England). The shoes work great and after reading reviews before I purchased, I ordered one size larger than I take. They fit like a a glove and are very comfortable. I take a 9 1/2 shoe. The chart said size 43, but I ordered a 44 after reading the reviews and am glad I did. Just thought I'd pass this along.

New to Cycling, great shoes, great deal

I am new to cycling and bought the shoes and pedals with clips. These are so comfortable, i wear an 11.5 New Balance running shoe and the 47 fit great. The clip's were easy to install and have the option to change clip/pedal style with these. Funny note, not use to cycling shoes and the slick bottoms caught me off guard on steps into garage which ended with me sliding down 3 steps and flat onto the ground, no damage to me or shoes but be careful if not use to slick bottom shoes like this.

Nice entry level shoe

Nice shoe for the money. Fits well and the three velcro straps will hold your foot in place. I use it for spin class, so it does the job nicely. Also like that it has holes for two types of clips. Don't know way more makers don't do the same.

Great shoe for the price

I wear a 11.5 to 12 US normally and these fit perfectly with a 47. I am a pleased with everything about them. light, breathable and just a good shoe. I actually used a shoe sizing chart at Performance Bike web sight. I use these with Shimano's 105 pedals purchased here on Amazon.

I would say my only complaint is the breathable ability is making for a cold shoe without covers. Come warm summer days I will really like that.

These shoes are amazing! Being my first clip in shoes

These shoes are amazing! Being my first clip in shoes, I don't really have anything to compare them to besides the nike frees I used to wear while riding my road bike. I rode 30 miles this morning, and my feet were comfortable the entire time. I didn't have any issues with numbness at all. The vents in the bottom kept my feet cool and dry as well.

As for size, I wear a 12.5 or 13 depending on the shoe, and the 48s fit perfectly. I was a little worried about the size because I have a slightly wide foot, but luckily, I do not have any issues with tightness with these shoes.

These are solid beginner cycling shoes for those who are looking for a pair but do not want to break the bank.

What can I say... this is a great inexpensive cycling shoe option from the very well-known Shimano brand. I wanted to get a quick strap velcro-less shoe but didn't want to spend over one hundred dollars, so I decide to just get a velcro strap shoe after trying it on at the local bike shop (which I highly recommend you do before ordering any shoe online). I saved over $15 getting this Shimano shoe on Amazon as compared to the bike shop and got the exact same item I was expecting for right around $75. Even with the 3 velcro straps, the shoe fits snugly and straps fairly well. I am right in between a 46 and 47 so I went with the more comfortable 47 since the 46 was pushing against two of my toes. It has a stiff toe box area so don't plan on having this shoe "mold" to your foot, but it's a cycling shoe so that isn't really the point. I hope it lasts a long time! I have added some pics of the shoe itself right out of the box and also added a few pics with the Shimano Cleats SPD-SL SM-SH10/SM-SH12 (Design: SM-SH11) that I needed for my Shimano pedals. Everything works perfectly so far... so no complaints!
NOTE: The cleats DO NOT come with theses shoes. You have to order them separately.
