This nori was just OK. I didn't like the flavor as much as the nori that I usually buy off the shelf at my local grocery store, so the only group of folks that I could honestly recommend this product to are people who are committed to buying certified organic and/or raw foods.

I was disappointed to note that, contrary to the product description, the package did NOT bear any symbol of Kosher certification (and, no, according to my rabbi, nori is not automatically Kosher, due to the processing it undergoes). There are some brands of nori that are certified Kosher under rabbinic supervision, but this does not appear to be one of them.

Also, this nori is a product of China, and I specifically try to avoid buying any food from China because they have had so many problems with tainted and deliberately misrepresented food products.

This product made decent sushi and is comparable in price to the nori at my local grocery store, so it's not all bad news. Still, I don't think that I would ever buy this product again.

good nori, I'm a beginner at sushi so I can't comment too much on the exact quality. seems good to me. I bought them because they are organic and I researched the company-- they harvest their seaweed from Japan, carefully monitoring the water quality, and test the seaweed for contaminants, heavy metals, pesticides and supposedly it all passes 100% undetectable levels. It is dried and processed in Japan as well, they say. HOWEVER, the back of the package says product of China!!! My guess is the finished nori sheets are sent to China to be sealed in plastic (but otherwise they have nothing to do with China). I do know that happens for other products sometimes. On the company's website they never mention China, though, so who knows. I only care because I avoid buying food sourced from China due to concerns about environmental pollution.

For a raw and tasty nori that is certified radiation free, this is the product to get. It has minerals and iodine and tastes amazing. Instead of wraps or breads, I just use nori. I think most people could use the nutrients in nori and would even start to crave it like I do when you go a day without it.

I was so excited when these arrived but when I saw that they were made in China - it kind of freaked me out and I don't want to take my chances.
Isn't the water out there more toxic and foods are to never be trusted from there.

Super duper love this Nori. Nori is a scary thing to buy nowadays. Can't find it raw. Scared of pollutants. But I eat this without any worry at all. Check out their scientific certification process. Will ease your mind. Wish it was cheaper but you have to pay extra sometimes.

NORI: These nori sheets have less added salt and are significantly firmer than expected. Hence, these sheets are a wonderful replacement for bread. They hold wet, soggy veggy mixtures better then pita bread!! For making sushi, I wet the inside side of the paper and lightly apply oil to the outside, rendering a far more plyable sheet for rolling and cutting. I will not be going back to standard nori sheets anymore. This is it for me.

ADDITIONAL BONUS: The nutritional content for these sheets is higher than for standard nori sheets.

RECOMMENDATION: I am rating this nori product as a strong buy and will continue to purchase this item myself.

This seaweed doesn't have a strong fishy flavor like some seaweed does and I like how it is not doused in oil. It works great for making my vegan sushi. Excellent source of iron and overall extremely healthy. You can't go wrong with this brand :-)

Love these and what a great price. I do a lot of raw and living foods and I can make all kinds of raw vegan sushi with them, so I don't toast them to retain all of the nutrients. They do have a slightly stronger taste than toasted ones, but not at all bothersome. They are also chewier, so I make sure to make my sushi bite-size. Would definitely buy again.
