I received this cam yesterday as soon as I plugged it in it worked I on my Creative Drivers, the light was wonderful but it does not show my picture continually, it freezes the picture most of the time. By the way when I inserted the CD nothing happened and when I right clicked on my D: drive I get a note it sates ( D; CD is not accessible ). (hope to know why.
I am not sure whether to recommend it to my friends or not.

I am giving this only 3 stars because I don't know how or if it works. It came without any instructions at all. I haven't tried to plug it in yet because I don't know what the bar on top is for. It clicks but don't know if that controls anything or not. Wish it would have come with at least an explanation of the parts involved. I may be too hasty in reviewing this and should at least hook it up before giving this rating, but for a product to have not one word of instruction for a semi computer illiterate, it's baffling to me.

At first I had some problems getting it to work. For one there was no manual or simple info sheet on the camera. Cameras are usually straight-forward, plug and play, but for some reason I couldn't get the camera to operate. After voicing my concern with the seller I tried installing it again and it worked. The only direct was selecting the Device menu tab on software and clicking on USB camera. It works great. I'm very happy with it. In fact I ordered one for my wife too. Its a good deal for the money.

It is not state of the art but.....look at the price and that should tell you a lot. Saying that.......for the price I got a good product. The mic works sometimes and sometimes not...but again look at the price. I wasn't expecting a lot so I got what I paid for and then some. The seller was great.

The computer cable is too short, not convenient for my desk set up with the computer below- its a tight fit for this camera cable unless I want to have the cable running to the front of my computer. The picture quality is fuzzy unless your face is right in the camera (seems to be about 1 foot ).
