Perfect. This one really does pulverize the pill. I needed it to crush my dog's fairly substantial pill and wasn't sure it would do more than break it into smaller pieces. Saw this being used in the hospital. The comment was that it did a good job of getting the pill to a powder and the style was good because the crusher fit inside the pill container and didn't have groves in the bottom of the crusher. The pills tend to get in the groves and are hard to get out.

This pill crusher is awesome! I have trouble swallowing pills and was looking for something that would crush them.

This little gadget makes crushing pills as easy as turning a door handle, no strength required. Its also convinient that is has a pill storage compartment at the top which I use often (I travel alot). It pulverizes pills to whatever level you want from a fine powder, to small easy to swallow pieces since you control how far you twist the handle.

I would highly recommend this product and will be buying more for friends and family.

We use this to crush vitamins for some of our younger children so we can mix it into apple sauce. I've been frustrated at how much strength this requires to crush the vitamins. Ideally I would have our older kids do this, but it's hard enough for me as an adult male.

Now after about 8 months of use it broke. The plastic surface that the vitamins are crushed on has deformed and finally broke. Recently I've noticed the surface was getting cloudy, but this evening it actually cracked (no longer usable; the crushed powder falls down into the base body).

Some pills crush easier than others. Mileage may vary.

Love my new pill crushers. These make life so much easier to help my grandma crush her pills since she can no longer swallow a pill. I just put one of her pills in the crusher and twist a few times, screw the lid back off, pour the powder over her pudding or cottage cheese at the time and she then gets her medicines. So thankful for this as I used to have to crush them by hand. It also has a lid on the top and a container under it to hold some pills in there too. So extra storage!

Works great in crushing the glucosamine pills to mix in the food for my german shepherd, who is very picky about separating the unwanted pieces in her food and leaving them out. This pill crusher reduces the glucosamine pills into powder and they mix well with her raw food. It only takes one pill at a time to make each pill into powder otherwise, there will be larger pieces if I use more than one pill.
The crusher twists and it helps to twist and untwist for crushing each pill to avoid creating powder that sticks to the bottom of the pill canister.
