I haven't used this long enough to rate it on the benefits that may come from taking it but I will rate on qualities I have been able to gather at this point:

Shipped quickly, packaged well, received what I ordered and the product is as described---dissolves COMPLETELY in ANY liquid AND relatively tasteless. Not absolutely tasteless but definitely won't alter anything you dissolve it into to any significant degree. I'm very impressed with how well it dissolves because the first product of this kind I have ever used is the Aminogen by Elavonne and it is a powder that does NOT stay in suspension in liquid. However, that may be because of the added ingredients included as well as the TYPE of collagen in their formula---their collagen is FISH sourced rather than from bovine.

I agree that there are "issues" with the closure design. If you pour the product directly out of the cannister the powder ALWAYS collects around the plastic insert and when you twist the can top closed and try to shake OFF the amount that collected around the lid MORE and MORE seeps out from the closure! You ALWAYS have accumulated collagen powder on the top of the cannister. :-(

Here's the "BUT"...I am planning on calling the company on Monday, but maybe someone can answer this for me in the meantime (it's the weekend)...

I am a bit confused about the conflicting info regarding serving size info on the container! :-( Reading only the TEXT part of the package under "Recommended Dosage" it says: "Take one rounded tablespoon (10-12 g) in the morning, and the same amount before going to bed late evening..." HOWEVER, under the SUPPLEMENT FACTS it states that a serving size is 1 tbsp::1/4 oz::7g!Read more ›

I love this stuff. I stir it into my morning coffee, my afternoon yogurt, and sometimes my evening tea. It mixes well, it's flavorless, and you can't tell it's in there. It digests easily, and aches and pains are fading. There are TONS of reasons why gelatin is a superfood. And this particular one is made from grass-fed, grass-finished beef, a serious plus in my book.

But...

What happened to the price?! At this moment you can get SIX cans of this stuff for less than $100 on the Great Lakes website -- that's $16.16 per can, INCLUDING shipping, as opposed to the current $37.89 per can, or $34.45 if you buy two. I can't bring myself to fault this wonderful product because of price gouging, so I'm giving it its fully deserved 5 stars. But I'm going elsewhere to buy it until the price comes back down.

I love being able to increase my protein with this skin food. I'm an esthetician and I have noticed how good this product is for my skin health. It also helps me with my knee pain and my workout. I mix it with my coffee and it's DELISH!!! What I love about this product the most is that it comes from grassfed cows. Try it!!!

I have been using this Collagen for about three years, I mix it in coffee, yogurt, broth, I've never had a problem with it, and it has never had any "smell" or any "Flavor." The last batch bought from this vendor, LOT #L000010381 (Which says enjoy by March 2020) is HORRIBLE. It smells kind of rotten and tastes kind of rotten - just awful. I ate in anyway, it's not THAT bad, but then I got a terrible headache about 3 hours later. The container is fine, not wet, broken, hadn't been opened when I received it. The collagen powder looks the same... I thought MAYBE different batches are a little different, so I went ahead and tried it again, UUghh! Disgusting. Not at all what I'm used to from this company. I had ordered the two-pack, so I tossed that first canister, and opened the 2nd one, hoping maybe that one would be better, but no, same smell, same flavor. I'm wondering if maybe it's so popular now, that the quality isn't the same. :( I have had great results with this gelatin in the past, so this is a big disappointment.

This stuff is so amazing. I've been putting it in everything! I put a spoonful in my coffee every morning and I sneak it in into all our foods whenever I can (taco meat, yogurt, etc). As of this post, I've been using it about 4 months and the most noticeable thing is that my knees don't click like they used to. Also, I have weak shoulders that dislocate easily. I notice that my shoulder sockets seem to be holding everything together tighter than it has in a long time. This is one of those products that you have to use to believe. I go through this pretty fast so this double large size is a great deal.

I have been trying everything to heal my painful cracked thumbs, which happens every winter. After three weeks of taking this the tips of my thumbs have completely healed. I do not wake up with achy hands anymore either, that was a pleasant surprise! I have since bought my mother and a friend this product. I highly recommend at least giving this product a try. I believe collagen works best when taken with vitamin C. I usually have mine in a hot honey lemon water, and honey and chamomile tea at night. I highly recommend giving this product a try. I do notice the fee is different when you search for this product under different categories, I found it was cheaper when listed in the food category then beauty and health. Not sure why..
