I love this reel becouse of how light it was. the reel is only 6.6 ounces,and it looks amazing. It is also very smooth throughout the intire retreve. another thing that i love about this reel is how quiet it was you cant hear a thing when reeling it in. another thing is the line capcipity it can hold 145 yards of 12 pound mono. I put eva knobs on this reel and it made it 10 times beter when fishing in cold conditions and for all day situations. Also if you are looking for a good pole then i would recomend the abu garcia vendenta rods. the only drawback of this reel is abu needs to put a reel cover in the box because if i am going to spend 150$ on a reel then i think it should come with more then a little contaner lube.

Very good reel. Meant to order it in the 7.1.1 gear ratio but got the 6.4.1 went ahead and used it and reallyliled it.I felt no need to send it back for the 7.1.1. Very easy to adjust.

I have owned calcuttas and curados. This reel puts both them to shame. It weighs nothing but still has all the backbone to catch big fish and cast ability to throw smaller lures. Buy this reel you will not be disappointed.

Reviewed a lot of baitcasters in this price range and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The reel is very smooth and casts effortlessly. Just make sure to have the brake set properly! I own a Revo S and a BPS pro qualifier, this one was a little more $$, but you can tell is a better reel.

It took awhile to recieve the reel, but it was worth the wait. The reel is made of good quality parts and it has amazing casting capabilities. Even though Abu Garcia is made in china now the products are still good quality. I love the reel and i paired it with a seven foot three inch medium heavy abu garcia veritas. This is a very nice looking combo, and most importantly they function extremely well together.
