I exclusively breastfed both of my babies until 6 months. With my first, when time came to return to work and we had to make the transition to the bottle it took an entire week before he drank more than 1/4 once using the standard Avent bottle/nipple (which still worked best out of many that we tried). While pregnant with our second, Avent sent us a free sample of this "Natural" line bottle, so after the same 6 months this time, when we tried both bottles, we were amazed with the difference. She had no trouble latching to it or knowing how to extract the milk from it, but with the standard bottle/nipple all she does is chew on it. I absolutely recommend the "Natural" line and wish we had it for our first.

Another thing that we love about this new "Natural" line is that they have completely removed the O-ring that went between the standard bottle and cap (that essentially sealed the bottle completely when closed... if it was left out it was a BIG mess). These new bottles are designed so that the neck of the bottle that screws together to the cap is extra long and the silicone/rubber nipple extends the entire diameter of the bottle. This creates a perfect seal when the long neck comes in contact with the extended nipple and there is no need for any extra parts. Makes washing and putting back together one step easier which is always a plus when you have a hungry baby!

I did want to note that another reviewer mentioned it not fitting the bottles... these nipples do NOT fit the standard Avent BPA Free bottles. They MUST be the Avent NATURAL BPA Free bottles. A very important detail when you are buying extra nipples since the actual design is completely different in the way it fits into the cap and bottle.

These were not at all what I was expecting to receive. I thought by "slow flow" they meant the slowest possible...for a newborn. Not so much. I already had bunch of these, as it's what the bottles come with to begin with.

It's not worth the effort to send them back, so I'll give them as a gift when a friend has a baby. Just know these aren't for a newborn who only needs one hole in the top as opposed to two.

The nipples themselves are fine, though, for an older infant.

This nipples arrived on time and are as great as I expected them to be. Fast enough to sooth a hungry baby baby and not too fast to allow baby to gag. After using them I really don't know how someone can not get the hang of it!!

I actually had really good reviews for this product and thats why i wanted to try it out. so far its good. the only problem i am having with this is everytime i am feeding my child i see lots of air in the bottle and that can get annoying when your trying to feed you have to keep on taking the bottle out of the babies mouth other than that its an okay product.

Bought these nipples not realizing they weren't compatible with the classic Avent bottles (some friends had given us a big bag of classic bottles). If you try to use these with the classic bottles they leak. Had to buy the classic nipples instead. My newborn was equally happy with both types of nipples, classic and natural.

Love the avent line of bottles and nipples but be aware that these are Stage 2 nipples despite being labeled "slow flow" in Amazon's description. I was expecting and needed Stage 1 nipples so not able to use these right now.
