Hey, yo... When I was in my early 20s, a girlfriend broke up with me because I was using the single-ply variety of toilet paper in a cost-saving measure. Living in New York City is very expensive. I learned an important lesson, you gotta step up your poop game. Take that S--- seriously. Pun intended. At a cost of $0.47/double roll, the Angel Soft Double Rolls (I purchased the 40-pack) this is a good way to step your game up on the cheap.

I did extensive product testing comparing to the more expensive Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper, Double Rolls, 40 Count. I use the restroom frequently, so I figured myself to be the perfect test subject. Below:

Price: Angel Soft: $0.47. Charmin: $.71. If I had a quarter for every time I bought cheaper toilet paper... Oh wait I do, so that is a total of $.24 x 40 = $9.60. Almost enough to buy something useful like an Admiral Ackbar action figure.

Softness: Angel Soft: 9/10. Charmin 8.5/10. Angel Soft with a shocking Wichita State-style upset here. The champion of crap has been dethroned

Toughness/Resiliency: Angel Soft - 4/10. Charmin 8.5/10. This is the big weak point for the Angel Soft. Really can not stand up to daily use.

Those are the only categories I could think of to judge Toilet Paper in. In all, it is a solid, if unspectacular product. I don't know how long it will take me to finish 40 rolls of toilet paper, but I can assure all my faithful readers that Stacie is very excited to have such a plethora of supplies. I'm not exactly sure how to rate toilet paper. It does the job, and is quite soft. I like it. Also, it's SO easy to order by amazon, rather than lugging a carton from the store to your transportation, and then home. It seems like a decent price.

Angel Soft is made by Georgia Pacific and this is the in my home state. GP is a world wide well ran company that truly cares about our Eco System . Pine trees are the basis of this toilet paper. GP harvest trees in a modern way, which excludes clear cutting of forest. I say this because not many people are familiar with thinking of toilet paper and pine trees.

I have a five bathroom house that depends on a SEPTIC SYSTEM. I feel better with Angel Soft TP not clogging up my plumbing or tank because Angel Soft is a softer material and does "Break Down" better than the thicker types of TP. In my observations and opinion, I do believe it's easier on the septic system. Please don't rely on other brands that print or claim to be Flushable, Septic-Safe because a couple of major brands has created massive problems in my septic tank, creating a back flow or backed up tank emptying into my finished basement. For that reason along, I am extremely cautious about what type of tissue is used in my home. I found Angel Soft one of the best brands to use with Septic Systems.

I like this product because it will last longer than any other brand I've tried. The rolls are six packaged which makes for easier storage. It is softer than any other TP. While it's soft, it's also durable without tearing while usage. It is also very affordable. Other companies market 2 or 3 times the quantity of paper per roll. This is very confusing especially when buying online and you can't feel or see how much TP you are buying. Angel Soft Double Rolls means 48 rolls per purchase. Others will mislead you by saying "one roll equals three..." . A great tip if buying paper products online is to look at the weight of the package. This 48 roll box weighs 13 pounds. The company claims that the case of 48 is equal to 96 rolls of regular TP. That's a lot of TP compared to other brands with similar prices. I highly recommend Angel Soft Double Rolls made by GP.

Do yourself a favor and go to sam's and buy bulk there. This TP is like tissue paper and the rolls run out after 3 bathroom visits for only two people (and no, we are conservative on our usage) I also don't remember this brand being so crappy when I bought it in the store? I wonder if they changed their TP "recipe" for amazon prime? It's also cheaper to buy in store or a bulk store like Sam's and for better quality.

Keep in mind that those big bulky looking rolls of toilet paper you see in the picture are on a mini scale. Ignore their descriptions as well because these are very small rolls of toilet paper. They are about half an inch less in width than an average roll of toilet paper and are loosely wound around the core to make it seem like more paper. I bought them because Kirkland's toilet paper took a dip in quality and on some forums they said these are a good alternative. They are not. They don't compare even to the lower quality Kirkland rolls.

My family has been using Angel Soft for 3+ years. I'm sure there are other thicker toilet papers out there that cost more than $2 a roll but for the money, you can't be the value of Angel Soft toilet paper. It is plenty thick and durable enough for our potty needs. I won't buy anything else because this is perfect price-wise and dependability-wise. You won't regret it.
