With a heavy metal thunder, Zodiac stomps onto the music scene, debuting "A Bit of Devil". Saying that the seventies rock revival is going strong would be a severe understatement.

Current Line-Up:

Nick Van Delft...Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar
Stephan Gall...Rythym Guitar
Janosch Rathmer...Drums
Robert Kahr...Bass, Organ

This album doesn't have a debut feel to it, it's the band's confidence that shines through their music that makes them formidable. This album is another time traveler, taking you back to 70's revival rock. The song " A Bit of Devil" is classic hard rock at its best. Plenty of blues driven melodies are interlaced throughout this album, gritty powerful guitar driven wonder.

"Nick Van Delft really shines on the bands cover of ZZ Top's "Blue Jean Blues", delivering some sizzling blues licks and whiskey soaked vocals that would make Billy Gibbons proud."

I'm going to keep this band on my radar as they are going places. So for fans of all the classic acts like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy or the new names like Black Country Communion, Joe Bonamassa and Graveyard, ZODIAC should be an exciting band to discover.

Easily 5 hammer-struck thumbs up !

If you're a fan of ZZ Top, Sabbath, Zeppelin, BOC, old-school Seger, The Sword, Graveyard, Gypsyhawk or any of the other classic rock (or classic rock-sounding) bands, buy this now. One of the best rock albums I've heard in years and years. The cover of ZZ Top's Blue Jeans Blues is worth the price of admission alone (one of the best covers I've ever heard, and, as another reviewer mentioned, is arguably better than the original), but every song is outstanding.

EDGE Heavy guitars, A nice bite to it, Not over produced like I thought Adrenaline Mob "Omerta" was (good record though) Not kinda down there in the low end like Mammoth "Hell is likely" (which is a great record by the way) but I really like this one, crisp guitar work, nice reverent cover of Blue Jean Blues on it, NICE LIKE TEQUILA ! This record has a nice feel Ladies and Gentlemen. I am firm in my conviction that "A BIT OF DEVIL" would be exemplary purchase for a cultured, refined, person of integrity and ethics who holds their entertainers to a high standard ! Olga just said it's WAY COOL well I guess that about wraps of the review boys she's got a Mexican Bull Whip. I AM OLGA'S MEXICAN BULL ! well I'm really Scottish and Cherokee but hey... what the hell

everything about this record is great...the soulful vocals the incredible guitar work...the bass the drums...all classic...the production on this is so good..sounds amazing...was just so pleasantly surprised by it...definitely a must have for classic rock junkies like me.

Great album. Vocals are reminiscent of Billy Gibbons, and their cover of ZZ Top's Blue Jeans is, to my ears, as good as the original. Great guitar work and a nice rhythm section, this is classic rock n roll.
