Lots of sugar, but still good.

This matcha powder doesn't try to fake itself as a ceremonial grade matcha that can cost upwards of $30-$40 in the same amount. It has filler like sugar, but the name "sweet matcha" should have told you that already. Do not purchase if you want the pure stuff or if you are a purist. However, if you want to make greet tea frappucinos or lattes, this will do very, very nicely - and this is coming from a Starbucks barista.

Great for Green Tea Frappuccino!

This sweet green tea is very good for creating frappuccinos! If you enjoy drinking green tea frappuccinos this is a great product and you will not be disappointed. You can easily achieve this drink by mixing a generous teaspoon of this sweet matcha, ice, milk ( I use fat free milk to keep the calories low and free of fat, but feel free to use your preferred milk) and then a teaspoon of Amoretti Hoenyedew Syrup I also bought from Amazon.

I just wish they would sell this product in a larger package alternative and not be exclusively sold as an add-on item.

Sweet Treat

When my sweet tooth acts up, I make a glass of this with Vanilla Almond Milk. It adds a bit more sweetness and a nice texture and it has a white chocolate taste to it. Much less sugar and much less calories and it satisfies that craving every time. I have also made a latte with hot milk and it was just as wonderful that way! I have already put this product on a subscription so I get a new supply every month.

Delicious!

I bought this before I had even tried a Starbucks green tea latte, and I fell in love with this product. I make it with milk/almond milk that I've heated on the stovetop and I use a frother I had from a hot chocolate set (although they're not expensive to buy). I froth the milk while its heating and I also froth the whole drink after mixing the powder in. It tastes so delicious and not overly sweet. I recently had a Starbucks green tea latte and I was surprised to find that it tasted very similar to this product, except the Starbucks one was a bit too sweet. I think I'll stick with making my own using this mix.

I gave it 5 stars because it arrived packaged well, it arrived right on time, & the taste is wonderful! I made the latte recipe they had on the box & already want another cup! I did not have to add extra sugar, as it's already added to the tea. I'll be reordering this for sure. I would recommend this to anyone who has never tried Matcha before & I'm pretty sure you will love it as well. You can use a Matcha wisk, but I just used a spoon & it mixed right in with the hot milk. You did good Rishi Tea Company!

Super Delicious

I use this product to make green tea lattes for myself and my daughter. It is part of our morning ritual and we feel a bit incomplete without it. The texture is smooth and it blends well. I like that it has sugar cane in it because I like my lattes a bit sweeter. They have pure matcha products if you'd prefer to skip the sugar.

They have prompt and accurate delivery every time. When they are out of stock on Amazon I usually have luck getting the product directly from their website.

If you are a fan of the "Green Tea Latte" or "Green Tea Frappuccino" at Starbucks, you will love this stuff. It's expensive, but certainly less expensive than buying prepared drinks at Starbucks. If you are not going to Starbucks to hang out, this will also save you the trip.
This matcha powder mixes with milk much more readily than others I have tried.
It's easy and quick to prepare, and tastes great!
