I love my KRUPS Coffee Grinder! 20 seconds and, VOILA! Beautiful grounds! It's superior in it's class of grinders and you can't go wrong by buying it.

It also makes a great spice grinder BUT, if you plan on doing spices AND coffee, you really need two of these. Otherwise, your coffee will taste like marjoram! (ew!)

In summary, for what it's designed to do (grind stuff) it is quiet, fast and effective.

CLEANING:

The best way to clean this grinder is with a small (1 inch) plastic brush, or perhaps a mushroom brush. Never use water to clean. If there's residue you need to remove frm the grinder, try grinding salt or grits or rice but NEVER popcorn; it will chip the interior.

I hope you enjoy your Krups product as much as I have!

This is a great little grinder! I've had one for a dozen years and it is still going strong. My husband recently started drinking coffee in a French press and has to grind his beans twice a day so I decided to buy a couple of extra of these: one in case the old one breaks and one for my spices and herbs.

I have had mine for more than 10 years and it still works well. The biggest issues are the cheap plastic lid has cracked and it is not too easy to clean. However, as a grinder it is a great simple tool with a good motor.
