I started using this toothpaste two days ago. My gums and skin in my mouth (especially in front of my lower teeth, below my lip) started to become more sensitive and sore. At first I thought it was something I ate, but soon realized it was the toothpaste actually breaking down my tissues. Last night when I was brushing my teeth my skin actually deteriorated so much that I started bleeding. I didn't change anything else (toothbrush, etc) and the pain came soon after or during brushing, so I am sure it was because of the toothpaste. I am very surprised no one else has mentioned this. To a lesser degree, the same thing happened to my husband.

Serves me right for putting peroxide in my mouth, I guess...

I usually don`t write reviews but reading bad reviews of this toothpaste made me writing this review .
I have been suffering from one tooth that is very sensitive to everything that I ate . I asked my dentist to do a root canal so the pain will stop. He did not want to do that and recommend me Crest Sensi Strips that always work on sensitivity ,so he said . I try them and nothing ,,, I tried all the sensitive toothpastes on the market and nothing helped . Until I got this one . In the first week I used it ,I immediately felt much better and now after 3 weeks of using it ,all my pain is gone. It have very fresh flavor and it doesn`t make too much foam in the mouth. A little bit grainy but nice .My only complain is the price . It is expensive compare to the regular cavity protection toothpaste I used before .

I had the same exact problem as Sarah Baldwin. This toothpaste, and only this toothpaste (among all that I've tried so far - quite a lot), causes serious irritation on the inside of my lips and gums; visible irritation at some instances to the point of bleeding. I've used pure hydrogen peroxide to treat mouth wounds before and had no issue with that, so I'm really at a loss to what could be causing the reaction with this toothpaste. It honestly feels like they've put fiberglass shard particles in this product, though I highly doubt they have...

I bought this as the companion to the full size tube to take on a trip. This is a copy of my review of the full size tube:

I kind of went on a mission to get rid of my plaque and whiten my teeth in a short time frame before I flew home to see my family. must say, I neglect my oral care. I have a bleeding disorder and haven't seen a dentist in years. I used a scraper to get rid of my plaque then used this toothpaste in combination with the matching whitening strips. The results were good, but left my teeth VERY sensitive, like so sensitive that sucking air into my mouth wrong sent singing pain through my front teeth. Because I did all three steps in rapid succession I honestly can't say if it was the combination of changes, or one of the parts in particular that caused the sensitivity.

I will say that this stuff has good flavor.

I'll continue to use the toothpaste even though I've finished the white strips. As time passes if I'm still experiencing sensitivity and decide it's due to the toothpaste, I'll try to remember to come update my review accordingly

I loved this toothpaste as a kid, but as it got older, my gums began hurting. They hurt for a long time till I got toothpaste without baking soda. My guns feel great now, but I still miss the taste. If you are fine with baking soda in toothpaste, this kind is the best.

this is the only toothpaste i can use. somehow i'm allergic (according to my dental hygenist) to regular toothpastes. i get really dry mouth and peeling of my inside cheek tissue. when i use this, it all clears up. my teeth are super clean and it has a great taste. if you've seen the FB thing about the colored square on the bottom of the tube, this one is RED.

I usually just buy whatever toothpaste is on sale. For some reason I grabbed this one and it's the only toothpaste that I can see visibly whiten my teeth. It isn't anything amazing, but against Crest 3D white, this one really does do a better job. I'm guessing because the texture is a bit more gritty, due to the baking soda. It is still smooth though, and not noticeably sandy. It's a cheaper version of crest toothpaste, and is a fairly large size. I definitely prefer this over any other toothpaste. The texture is nice, the taste is nice and it works! The only thing is, the cap is a twist off and I hate that. I prefer a flip lid, but that's just being nit-picky.
