I think this case is great it's still on my iPad mini as we speak and the way it feels on the mini is great. Very thin feels almost like its not even on there but it has great protection, haven't dropped my mini yet (knock on wood) but I think it still provides great protection two thumbs up. Oh and it's a great fit some of these cases you get don't fit your device as well as it should usually there loose and flimsy but this is a perfect fit.

I had read another review of this being too loose and I have to agree. The problem is on the long edge it really is not made to fit tightly enough. If you hold it by the long edge the cover pulls away giving the grip an unstable feeling like it is going to drop out of the case. The feel of the cover is nice and it looks just fine to me. I just probably won't use it due to the fact of the grip on the long edge. The short edges are just fine because they have more ipad to space for the case to cover and embrace. I think what I wrote sounds a little silly but that is the best I can describe it.

I loved this cover, and still do. I just got an iPad Mini with Retina, and this "old" cover fits perfectly. Don't bother waiting for the "updated" version (Amzer Soft Silicone Skin Fit Jelly Case Cover for iPad mini with Retina Display). The old cover fits the Retina so well, I can't see what the manufacturer could do to make it fit better. Since I like green for my current cover, I'm getting a different colored same-style to put on my old iPad Mini.

I have several Amzer Silicone covers (similar to Speck PixelSkin, like Speck PixelSkin for iPhone 3G - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Green) for different devices -- it's just my thing. I want a good grip -- I don't want/need plastic or glass between the device and my hand/finger -- I don't need a waterproof/foodproof/kidproof cover, cuz I'm an adult who is careful enough not to have liquid and food near the iPad -- I want holes where they should be -- I want button covers where they should be -- I want the buttons easily accessible -- I will never use my iPad as a frisbee which sounds like some children do. I give my handheld devices respect.

I like green, but the green that manufacturers use these days I wish had more blue in it (but what can you do?) If I get sick of green, I'll buy one of the ten other colors, like purple.Read more ›

It finally arrived and was easy to install...but it felt slightly loose. The jelly type silicone has a good tactile feel and cushion, but I wish it was more snug like a tighter skin. Also noticed that the thing added significant weight to the mini - almost doubling the weight. My mini is not so mini anymore. I'm hoping that over time and exposure the cover will shrink and grab this iPad more tightly. Otherwise, I'm glad for the protection this thing provides and wont be so nervous about messing this thing up.

I have an Amzer cover for my original iPad 2, so I wanted to get one for my new mini as well. The small cover is the same quality silicone as the original. Great color, excellent grippy border. The cover also completely covers the home button, an improvement on the cutout in the original. I deducted one star because of the smell of the cover. It came out of the package reeking of a model glue fume-y awfulness. I left the cover on my porch over night, which dissipated the smell.

...but this case is just ok. First of all, mine came a little twisted. So now, one side doesn't fit snug like it should and kind of pulls away from the screen. And it came dusty. AND it hasn't stopped attracting dust and lint since. It's that velvet textured silicone...most people know what I mean.
It offers good protection and is fairly snug. Except for the fact that I can flip the flap over the home button back. It's gonna stretch...
For the money it's ok. It's a true 3 star product.
Looks ok, just a little cheap.
The fact that it always looks dirty is a deal breaker for me.
The best part is the amount of great but low profile protection around the screen. It's a truly protective case.
I'm off to buy another...this will just be a back up.
I'm glad it was less than ten dollars with a Prime....

Have had one for a while on my 3rd Gen iPad so I was kindof already sold. Fits my mini perfect. Provides great protection for 99% of users and is not as bulky as some of the "go to war" cases that provide maximum protection but add extreme bulk. Very happy.
