I am a Citrix consultant and I use this system in my lab to test and learn on for upcoming jobs and certifications. The back right side of my server had a nice dent in it where a PCI card would be installed. This would prevent me from installing a card but the description did state it was used and may have such defects on it and for the $250 I didn't mind it. I fill probably buy another to increase my farm resources later this year. One thing I would like to note is I notice that even though it’s been 2 year I see the price is about the same as back then. I would have thought in two years the price would have gone down but even at this time the system still works great.

My only gripe is that buying another one of these used units is cheaper than buying more ram being 16GB in this unit is maxing out the slots with 2GB DIMMS. If you wanted to increase past 16GB you would need to step up to at least 4GB DIMMS and replace all the other DIMMS which looks to be pretty pricey.

Have run VMware, Citrix, Windows Server 2008 and linux so far. This machine has been nothing but great for such an excellent price. No hardware or heat issues so far and not to unreasonable on the sound. Plan on buying a few more.

When I received the Server I was not able to load the OS on it because the company forgot to delete the logical partitions. I contacted them before I knew what was wrong and they got back to me right away after hours and assisted me first thing in the morning and we got it working. Thank you for your help. This is a great server at a great price. I'm running Ubuntu Server on it and currently have 4 virtual servers setup and running simultaneously. A file server, 2 Web servers, and a minecraft server. Thank you again.

This system is great! not to mention the price. It came and functions just as advertised. I have been running ESXi 5.5 for the past 3 weeks, with 4 VM's and have no problems. The only issue I have with this is the ILO2 management. Attempting to use Explore 11, Firefox, and Chrome. I am having problems with running remote control video. ActiveX and or Java seems to be the problem. Have attempted to update firmware, and have failed. I am unsure what version is the latest. This server came with ILO2. 2.9, It is my understanding 2.25 is the latest. This did not work for me.
I have decide to just use a crash cart I put together to manage the server when needed.

Fast with decent memory and up to 6 drives, this server is great and replaced 3 servers on the rack. The dual ps are great as well plugged into multiple battery backups for redundancy. I'd recommend this server. Due to being a rack mount, it is a tad loud but no louder than the other Dell's or HPs I already have.

Was very excited to get this as my first home rack server, got Windows Server 2012 R2 running on it right away and I couldn't be happier. Great product, only issue is one of the drives and one of the power supplies I got didn't work and I tried getting to their support line and have had no luck yet, but great product.
