The description states: "imperceptible beneath the sheets"
That is a stretch. Mine is covred with 2 flanel sheets. I can still tell the matress cover is there. Makes a slight plastic noise when moving around on the bed.
But the cover is well made and I assume is working as otherwise described.

After being advised by my allergist that I needed to cover my mattresses I started looking around. I thought these were a bit pricey but they were exactly the brand the doctor recommended so I bought them. I cannot tell they are on, they perform exactly as expected. I don't wake up in the middle of the night with an asthma attack any more. I just bought a King size bed and had to order a new one and the price didn't matter, the old one still looked brand new so I bought Mission Allergy again. I know I will be just as satisfied.

Most amazing product!! My son's asthma literally disappeared overnight!!
We recently found out that my son is highly allergic to dust mites,and his allergist recommended this product.
Keeps dustmites out, and my son no longer has problems breathing during or after sports,and no longer needs a ventalin!! A must have for people allergic to dustmites.
