I'm very happy with the fabric barrier encasements from Mission Allergy that I ordered for my mattress and pillows, but I regret purchasing the much less expensive vinyl encasement for the box spring. If you buy the vinyl encasement, be prepared to air it out for days in a well ventilated area. The chemical off gassing from the vinyl is NOT healthy to breathe. I should have known better--I just saw that it was a Mission Allergy product and ordered it. Buyer beware.

Mission: Allergy covers were recommended by my allergist to address my dust allergy. We bought 2 long twin covers for the boxsprings on our king size bed. We have thin, low profile boxsprings, so these are a little big, but they still work fine. We just tucked the excess vinyl around the boxsprings. The covers were simple to put on and seem sturdy. My allergies have improved dramatically since covering the boxsprings.

I bought this instead of the microfiber to use on the box spring. My allergist recommended that since it saves money. I used microfiber on the mattresses. I'm sleeping great and not waking up stuffed up like I used to.
